We are at 30 days for our 30th anniversary trip.

So when I last updated, we had finished doing TOT again and then decided to head to the resort for lunch, a swim and to hook up with Mary's friends that were arriving that day. The problem was how the heck to get out of there. Every which way we tried to go, we were told to go the other way because of the festivities going on for Star Wars Weekend. We ended up having to wait near the Great Movie Ride by a spot where the cast was coming off the stage.

That's frustrating. I always hate it when I get hemmed in by the parade crowds somewhere.

Yes, that would be Beaches and Cream.

Unfortunately, about 45 minutes into our swim time, a storm came around and the pool was cleared once again.

Nice to have a couple of theme parks so close in that case!

This was the first of the horrible bus service we had. First, they told us the boats weren't running because of the rain so we should get a bus (and this took four different transfers on the phone at the front desk to find this out...none of them seemed to know what they were doing). So we waited and we waited and we waited for a bus. After the 3rd phone call from the bus stop, we were told the buses were no longer running to the Studios and we should catch a boat. So off we went back to catch a boat.

We LOVED Beaches n Cream, but we only had ice-cream, which I didn't finish. I don't know how you all ate and then had ice-cream. The ice-cream sundaes there are huge.

So sorry about the boat/bus drama and other drama. But it still looks like you had a good group and made the best of it all, rain included.

It's good that ya'll go at least a little pool time in before it started raining. Ugh! I know that you had to be so frustrated with the bus/boat situation. I've read several trip reports that included transportation issues at the Beach Club.

I absolutely love this pic. Perfect composition! Looks like it could eat her. I love Beaches and Cream. Definitely going to need to hit it up next month. Best burgers on Disney property. And oh so adorable in there.

Isn't it a great place? I can't believe the first time we went there was for our first dinner with Nicki, Todd, Andy and Des this past December for Mark's 60th.

Beaches and Cream is somewhere I'm hoping to go in September. Never been there, definitely want to go though!

You must go....burgers are great and ice cream even better.

The bus was awful the entire time at BC. IF we ever stay there (Mark and I), it will be only with a car!

The kids had a blast in the pool; I actually went in as well. I can't remember if Heather and Mary did even though they had their suits on.

And Beaches N Cream - well, its still on my list.

The next time you stay at Boardwalk or BC, you must go.

Bummer about the needless wait for a bus that never came. I think I would have been just a tad irritated with that one.

Trust me, we were ALL irritated with the buses.

Too bad the rain cut your swim time short, and made it a mess for getting to DHS.

I couldn't believe how awful the buses were and the lack of knowledge on the CM's part.

We had a great group (most of the time); nothing you can do about the rain...that's why they invented ponchos.

I don't drink coffee....I drink cappucinos. I will have the occasional coffee but, in all honesty, I can't drink Starbucks coffee unless it's a cappucino. I might want to see if Mark wants me to bring his beloved Dunkin Donuts coffee with us.

I'm so glad you and Megan love TOT now. I'm glad we tried Beach Club, but I'm in no hurry to go back (OKW is definitely more our style). It was a drama, rainy day, but we still had a blast.

I've read a lot of them too with bus issues; I guess if you are going to stay there, a car is a must.
