Girls Trip One More Time...Final Plans, The End 5/23

Hi again, Kathy!!
Caught back up on all the plans for the next 3 days.
Have a lovely slushie at Epcot for me. I'll have the Orange one please. ;)
Your day at Epcot sounds very enjoyable. Have to tell you, I found an old photo (while digging through old photos for TBT on FB) of us at Epcot in front of Living Seas. No seagulls out front. :faint: No nothing. :crazy2: Looks so bare.

The pool slide at Old Key West looks like so much fun. So much better to slide out of a Hidden Mickey from a sandcastle than to be thrown up out of a clown's mouth. :rotfl:

LOVE Art of Animation!!! I could spend all day in there drawing characters. We had great fun at MSI doing that after walking through the Disney Archives. ::yes::

Dinner choices you have I have not tried before! I will anxiously await your review of KONA and Mama Melrose.

Your MK morning sounds great!! :cool1: for your FP+ to see Anna and Elsa! Hope the line isn't too, too awful. I have read all the tales of the 3 and 4 hour waits to see them while they were in Norway. :faint:

A Typhoon Lagoon Day!! yay. The best tip I can give you to find a nice spot to have as your home base....go back by the Shark Reef area. There is a nice little seating area there that most people don't walk to. There is a covered shelter back there as well. And it really wasn't a bad walk to the wave pool or to grab something to eat. I think we ate at Tilly's as well. Food OK. Nothing too fantastic as I recall.

This week will be nuts here, so hope I don't fall too far behind once again. This next week is DS confirmation, DD crazy rehearsal week for her part in Peter Pan-she is Wendy this time and is really looking forward to that. School shows on Friday and then public shows Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully, life will slow down slightly after that. I have been trying to read, but no real time for comments. I miss my DIS time.

Um, er, well, do I tell you now or later that the girls want to go to Blizzard Beach since we went to TL last time?? So sorry-the pics were great though.....

The day sounds perfect !! I would do the Lazy River , but as for slides NO WAY JOSE!!!! You know how much I love Raglan Road !! I think for sure we will have to do RR in September !!!

Loving all your plans so far, but a day at Typhoon Lagoon, followed up with great food, fun, and a Bailey's shake at Raglan Road is sure hard to beat! :goodvibes :yay:

:wave2:

Love your plans.. I cannot wait to hear and see the pictures of the trip.
Never have done the water parks. ONLY because we have the Dells.

I hope things turn around for you and your family.. your always in my thoughts and prayers!!! Is it CPS or outside schooling?

I'm with you on this one Kathy; I am pretty fearless when it comes to a coaster or thrill ride, but waterslides are not something I find all that fun in my "older" age. Besides, I have seen one too many top or bottoms floating at the surface of the water after someone goes down a slide and hits the water... I'd rather not take the chance that fate may fall upon me. :rotfl2:

I'm not fearless on any of them. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Hi Kathy! I'm caught up with your day 3, 4, and 5 plans!

If I'm not mistaken, you are now on your way to Disney. I'm sorry our trip wasn't earlier so we would see you and Michael.

I hope you like Kona for dinner. If you are a bread fan I think you'll be pleased with their bread/butter service. :thumbsup2

Bread...it's my middle name. :)

A day at the waterpark should be fun. Michael wants to visit a waterpark so I think this trip I'll choose TL since Em and I went to BB last summer. I don't like the big water slides. I don't like to feel like my britches are going to arrive after I do if I go down one of those.

As you might have seen (or will later), our waterpark has been changed.

How's Mark doing? All's well post op? :goodvibes

Mark is doing great; he umpped 9 baseball games this weekend and felt good afterwards.

I remember when you first posted this picture and thinking it was the cutest picture on earth! I think it still is!

She has a way, doesn't she?

Denny and I did BB in October. The family raft ride was awesome. We did a few of the other slides, too until my neck couldn't take it anymore. Yup - getting old definitely impacts the fun at BB!

It looks like I'm going to BB. And I won't be doing those slides! :scared1:

Brenda, I hear you on that one. I've seen it more times than once where the person is waiting for something to arrive at the bottom or looking for it floating at the top. :lmao: Not gonna happen to this old guy. :rotfl:

Well that sealed the deal...no slides for me.

Your definitely need to go to discovery cove! It's so pretty and relaxing!! We lived to food options too and of course our time with the dolphins!

I think we will in 2016. The dolphins are the big draw for me.

Have a great weekend !!!!

Thanks; it was a good weekend of cleaning. I hope you had a good one.

Hi again, Kathy!!

Hi, Linda.

Caught back up on all the plans for the next 3 days.

WOO HOO (one of those days which has now changed)

Have a lovely slushie at Epcot for me. I'll have the Orange one please. ;)

Orange is the only way to go in my book! I can't remember that far back without the seagulls.

The pool slide at Old Key West looks like so much fun. So much better to slide out of a Hidden Mickey from a sandcastle than to be thrown up out of a clown's mouth. :rotfl:

I couldn't agree with you more on that!

LOVE Art of Animation!!! I could spend all day in there drawing characters. We had great fun at MSI doing that after walking through the Disney Archives. ::yes::

I'm very sad as I don't think Mark and I are going to get to MSI before it goes away. :(

Dinner choices you have I have not tried before! I will anxiously await your review of KONA and Mama Melrose.

I'm looking forward to Kona. Mama Melrose I've done with Mark and we've always enjoyed it.

Your MK morning sounds great!! :cool1: for your FP+ to see Anna and Elsa! Hope the line isn't too, too awful. I have read all the tales of the 3 and 4 hour waits to see them while they were in Norway. :faint:

I saw pictures posted on someone else's thread of the line for Anna and Elsa. THANK THE LORD we have FP+

It now seems we are going to BB instead.

I hope the show is a great success. I've enjoyed seeing the pictures on FB.

:eek::eek::eek::faint::faint:

Glad you found it funny, Jen.

The day sounds perfect !! I would do the Lazy River , but as for slides NO WAY JOSE!!!! You know how much I love Raglan Road !! I think for sure we will have to do RR in September !!!

Thanks, Rosie. Yes, Lazy River; NO slides.

Loving all your plans so far, but a day at Typhoon Lagoon, followed up with great food, fun, and a Bailey's shake at Raglan Road is sure hard to beat! :goodvibes :yay:

Well, it's now BB, not TL, but the rest of the day will be great.

:wave2:

Hi, Mo.

Love your plans.. I cannot wait to hear and see the pictures of the trip.
Never have done the water parks. ONLY because we have the Dells.

Do you know I have NEVER been to the Dells.

I hope things turn around for you and your family.. your always in my thoughts and prayers!!! Is it CPS or outside schooling?

Thanks; things are okay...just a lot of little nonsense (and Alisha's aunt is critically ill).

What is your question about CPS or outside schooling referring to?

I read about your Typhoon Lagoon day and thought to myself "that's the day that we are in Typhoon Lagoon". But, I was mistaken. We are there on the 2nd. But, we do have dinner at Splitsville that evening.

It sounds like you ladies will be relaxing while the girls do the scary stuff. :rotfl: You really do need to ride Crushin' Gusher though. It's really fun!

As some of you may have read, my little URCHINS, have decided they wanted to do Blizzard Beach since they did Typhoon Lagoon last time. So it looks like we are headed here instead:

(all pictures from the internet)

I think to get even with those girls for changing things on me they will each have to buy me a box of popcorn!

Day 6 plans coming up

So, now you are going to Blizzard Beach and the girls owe you popcorn. :rotfl: Have you been to Blizzard Beach before? This will be our first time trying it.

We are headed back to Avery's park today,

We won't have to be there right at opening because we have a breakfast ADR here:

In case you can't figure it out by that picture, we are headed to Tusker House for breakfast.

And trust me when I say I will be partaking in several of these:

From there, we have three FP+ selections.

The first one is for here:

The second one (and Mary, I think we are safe with the time after breakfast....I hope ):

And our final FP+ for the day is for:

And hope to see some of these:

I'm sure we'll go back here:

(yes, I know Mark won't be in the pictures)

After AK, we plan on hitting up the Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours as it is open until Midnight. Hopefully with the new extra FP+ system, we will be able to get some fastpasses while we are there.

Up next, my last full day at the parks.

A very long time ago, Lisa. I remember watching Mark and the boys going down all the slides. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I'm thinking either each a box of popcorn or 3 rides in a row on TOT! ;)

I'm going to bet that they'll be in line buying you popcorn. ;)

I'm a bit nervous about Blizzard Beach. I like the slides at Typhoon Lagoon but the ones at BB look intimidating.

**Edited: Forgot to talk about your Animal Kingdom plans. Duh! It looks like ya'll are going to start the day off right with breakfast at Tusker House. Everybody says that the food there is delicious.

Oh BB is fun! I'm sure you guys will have a blast!

And a great AK day planned. I know I'd want to do EE as far away from a meal time as possible :rotfl: It has a little too much zip for me!

Blizzard Beach followed by AK looks like a wonderful plan.

Two words - lazy river! :thumbsup2

Avery would probably do TOT with me more than once, but I don't think Cayley will.

I'm going to float in the Lazy River al day...that will help my nerves.

Mark and I've done it a couple of times and really like (not our favorite...Crystal Palace holds that spot), and it's always nice to see Donald and Daisy.

I'm sure we will; the girls swim all the time in Arizona so I'm sure they'll be fine on the slides by themselves.

I'd prefer not to do EE at all. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Blizzard Beach followed by AK looks like a wonderful plan.

Thanks, MEK. It will be two great days.

Two words - lazy river! :thumbsup2

Yes; too bad you can't take a drink with you though.

which one has the swimming with stingrays? that would be cool!!!

Popcorn AND 3 rides on TT...

Oh CPS- possible teaching job?

The girls will like BB probably more than TL. The tween section there is a lot of fun for their age group. The iceburg crossing and zip line will be great fun for them.

Love your plans for AK day. We have never done Tusker House. Hmmmmm. I am seeing a recurring theme here of places to eat we have never tried. Yep!! I need to go back. ;)
