Ooooo!
Eeeeee!
Uh-huh!
I don't have painted nails very often. I used to paint them myself before going on vacation, so even once I got home they reminded me of the fun we had.
A month ago I had my first mani/pedi experience. Everyone said I had to try it, I would love it. I did like it, though all the massaging caught me by surprise.
I was so pleased with the results! The fingernails, which start to chip after a couple days when I do it, lasted about 3 weeks, and the toenails even longer. And they were
beautiful.
My infrequent application hasn't stopped me from collecting nail polishes. Over the past year when I saw them go on sale, I bought some new ones to try, most of which are a little out of the box for me. My latest acquisitions (I'm trying to decide which to use for my October trip):
Deep Reds:
OPI "I'm Not Really A Waitress" (looked blood-red to me!)
Rimmel 340 "Torrid" (burgundy with a shimmer to it)
Dark Blues:
Sally Hansen 23 "Blazing Blue" (beautiful deep blue with a shimmer)
Sally Hansen 380 "Night Flight" (dark, midnight blue!)
Deep Purples:
Sally Hansen 92 "Deeply Violet" (eggplant with a shimmer)
OPI "Black Cherry Chutney" (more of a deep plum color)
