I had a very nice surprise when I got home from work yesterday. There was a nostalgic candy basket from Beth, Theresa, Jane, Vicki, Heather, Stacie and Angie .

It really made my day (actually year!!!) and was so sweet of them to think of me. Thank you all so much. It brightened my day and just knowing I have a great group of friends out there who care, makes me smile .

Have you tried the white chocolate covered pretzles from Disneyland? They are so good! Much better than the yogurt covered ones which is all I can find in the stores here. I always have to bring the Family size bag of them home from Disneyland.

The Apple Pie Carmel apples are really good too, they are dipped in carmel, then white chocolate and then rolled in grahm cracker/cinnamon topping.

I love both of those ! 2 of my favorite treats at DL (yummy)!

I haven't been keeping up with the thread lately, but I'm happy to see it has turned to discussions of CHOCOLATE!
I was just chatting with my mom yesterday about the Diva trip in Feb. She's too nervous to come with me again after her impromptu stop at the hospital in Seattle after the trip this year, but she was excited to hear about all the fun plans!

I totally agree! It's not even chocolate. It's vanilla flavored sugar with a 'chocolate like' texture. Yuck!

They have a lot of nerve to call it chocolate !

Did anyone get an email from Tina asking for money because they were mugged in London and can't get home? I got it and then saw on FB a few others did too. While on FB I get a pop up private message supposedly from Tina asking if I got her email. I said "The fake one?" and her reply was "Not fake". Anyways I guess her email was hacked but it's weird that I got a message from 'her' on FB as well.

If I have enough money to send to bring 2 people home from London. I am going to be a personal courier --and go get them myself.

I feel so sorry for the friend -- no group on FB to get a hold of for money.

Sad part about this whole thing is there are people that send money to those *********. I put the stars in myself as didn't want to swear to bad here. Just last month a grandma sent money to her "grandson". I wish there was a way to have these people spend a nice LOOONNNG vacation in one of our homey jails.

I hope some one sent the information to FB. Not even sure if they can do anything.

The nice thing that did happen is -- all the people that were worried about Tina and checked just in case this was real.

Mmmmmm.... Skittles..... mmmmmmm.... bottlecaps...... mmmmmm.... starbursts! Other faves of mine are gummy cherries, gummy cola bottles and the "adult beverage" flavors of Jelly Bellys. Mmmmmm......

This is one of the reasons I have an email address that I use ONLY for facebook. None of my friends would recognize it as being from me. The address even has "onlyforfacebook" in the title. So if you ever get anything saying it's from me using that address, it aint me. LOL

I also got a e-mail from "Tina." I'm glad someone posted something, because it was sent to my spam box and when I hit "delete all" I briefly saw her name and the first line of the message and then it was gone forever.

Speaking of scams. I was trying to help my mom out yesterday by responding to someone's online ad for something she wanted to buy. The title said the item was $150.00 and in the description they said $200. So I started a conversation with the seller and asked which was correct and she said she wanted $1500.00. So I said adios and reported her and got the ad deleted. Some people are just so mean.

Today has been very "off" for me and it's not a great way to start my 1-day weekend, but oh well. My mom and my sister are home from Vegas so I've been hearing all about that. I'm glad they had a good time and it's really making me wish I could do something fun right now. Only 4 weeks or so to go to Disneyland, which is too long. It might sound silly but I'm actually a little bummed about my trip right now. My friend can't go with me after all so I'll be "alone" (I know I'll be seeing a few Divas there, but was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday with my friend) for part of the trip.

Yep, I was hacked, and it is proving to be a major pain in the butt. I have no access to my FB and gmail accounts, and it is so frustrating! Neither has a call-in number, so I had to fill out an on-line form for gmail. Once that is all fixed, then I can work on my FB account. The Google form says it will take at least 24 hours for them to get back to me. What will I do without FB for that long?

My "cousin in law" got hacked last year. She was without access to her FB for about a week. Her email was thru Yahoo. And it's her ONLY email account. Yeah. Hence why I have an account JUST for facebook. LOL

I love ya Tina but I was like WHA???? That just sounded a little too nuts to me. And then when I sent you a pm and you instantly responded and said yes it is real at first I was like ok so maybe it WAS her but then luckily my lovely diva friends came to the rescue and confirmed that it was fake. Sheesh. People like this really irk me! I have everything on my fb private and blocked and friends only and I have even tried to block my email so that no could see it. I figure if people want me email I can pm it to them but ever since some of the changes I can't hide it. I don't like that they make that part of your info. JUST for this reason.

Tina I am sorry this happened to you and I hope you get it fixed quick. Glad it wasn't REAL! THat would have sucked speaking from someone who really WAS robbed in Amsterdam but it was back in 83 when all they had was traverllers checks and it took my mom like 3 days to get them replaced. There were no cell phones or ATMS back then and no email. It was pretty scary. But no offense we still wouldn't have called all our friends to help us out. That is what clued me in. I have enough family as I am sure you do that would have helped us. That's pretty much what clued me in that it was fake LOL.

The only "good" thing hopefully is maybe he/she won't attack any of the other divas cuz they know we are on to their game.

I hope everyone is having a good start to their weekend so far! Ruben's vacation starts today. We were originally supposed to go to CA to spend time there with his family, but it was too expensive, sooooo we're going to do some fun things around here.
We've got some Groupon and Living Social coupons to use up. And we booked three nights down on the Strip. Golden Nugget was only $40 and The Orleans was only $25, so the kids can go swimming.

Plus we already had our "big" family trip to San Diego back in May, so this is just a bonus. Up first? Ice skating! Should be fun.
