Hi everyone. I feel like I haven't been on here in ages but I just wanted to let you all know that I think of you all a lot and always think good thoughts for you.

I am off work today as childcare fell through late last night. I don't mind. The weather has been pretty good so I think I will take the kids to the waterslides this afternoon. I have been wanting to all summer but the weather just hasn't been good enough.

We are going camping this weekend. My friend who just got married and her husband and step son invited us along for two nights in a town about an hour away. We haven't been camping with the kids before so it should be quite the adventure.

Have I missed anything important? I will go check the first page to see if there have been any major changes.

We are still working on getting the house on the market...hopefully by the end of the week. We haven't found a new house we like yet, since we didn't get the last one, but we will keep looking.

I booked the Hoop De Doo review and am considering Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We paid the final payment on the cruise a few days ago! I am so excited...only about 3 months to go!

I booked the Hoop De Doo review and am considering Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We paid the final payment on the cruise a few days ago! I am so excited...only about 3 months to go!

I saw those...Unfotunately the dates are not my dates. Our cruise disembarks on the 10th of November. Oh well. It would have been nice but I wasn't expecting to get free dining. Maybe next time.

Good Morning!

I can't believe that the Disneyland Half Marathon is only 32 days away. We got our bib #'s yesterday; I'm 5927.

I can't remember, but who will be there Labor Day weekend?

My mom and I are coming in Saturday morning and leaving Monday. I have the Expo Saturday morning then we'll be in the parks for a while then dinner Saturday night at Naples. I've never eaten there. Sunday after my race we'll be in the parks until closing and then Monday we are doing the Surf's Up breakfast at the PPH before heading home and hitting the Disney Outlets that are on our drive home (3 of them).

If anyone wants to dine with us let me know...I made the reservations for more than just us 2 just in case.

OOOO...that would be cool. I did the Halloween Party when I was there with Beth on a ladies only trip back in 2006. It was fun, but I know it would be even better with my kiddos. My ds loves Halloween and I hope to take him to the MNSSHP some day before he's too old. I haven't done the christmas party before so I am excited that it is going to be on while we are there.

I have been there during F&W before but didn't participate as I was on a FAM trip for work.

I'm trying to get all of my stuff squared away for the 5K but I accidentally put in the wrong birth year when I registered and I don't want to show up there with my waiver and all when they think I'm only 14! I just got off the phone with them and it's all changed but wont be reflected until they do a system update on Friday or something like that.

I remember age 14 as being a middle of road year-- told old for some stuff to young for the rest.

Smiles4stamps, Is there going to be a food and wine show this year at DL? We had our trip this last year planned around the F+W. They then canceled it all -- oh those bad boys. I went to DW one year and had no idea there was such a thing as the F+W show. Boy did I get it figured out fast though. Not sure If I like the F+W or the Gardens show best-- Guess I could do both it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I was able to.

Guess I should go look on FB-- if it is slow here it is hoping over there . Having that was one of the best ideas for the Diva's. If I get off the net I am going to feel like I need to do laundry and house work. That does not sound even close to being fun.

Sahbuska, I was a stay at home mom until daughter was in high school. I used to think of starting a 24 hour day care for parents that worked rotating or late shifts. I even thought about having a day care for parents that other wise would need to stay one as they have a sick child. I doubt if I could do either of those now. I enjoy the grand kids so much -- can you imagine 5 or 6 little ones that age-- I would be in heaven. Little ones are so much fun to be around.

Linda...I still have a peechee folder from high school in a box of "stuff". It's funny to read all the stuff I wrote all over it.

I love reading about everybody's summer fun. Our weather has been fantastic, and I love the warm evenings (but not too warm!). I'm at work today, then off to the library w/ the kids and heading to the fair for awhile

I used Pee Chee folders too. That's all there was when I went to school.

I remember the icky yellow Pee Chee folders. Thank goodness they came out with more colors! The uber cool "Trapper" folders came out when I was in High School. All the cool kids had them. I had pee chees. LOL

And I'm all caught up again! Three weeks from RIGHT NOW I will be at DISNEYLAND! WOO HOO! Had a dream the other night that I was at the airport waiting to fly home and my flight got cancelled so Southwest had to put me up overnight in Anaheim and fly me home the next day so I made them put me on the last flight out again and I spent another day at Disneyland! LOL Why do my travel mishaps never turn out like THAT?
