I am working on paying things down so I can justify going on this years trip. It's just so hard when you don't make much in the first place. I am contemplating doing something part time so I can catch up. Hey Cheryl....need someone to come file for you?

I know who, too! I read all the spoilers too, and still watch it all.
I didn't get hooked until Jake's season though. That was my first time watching and it totally sucked me in.

Glad your Dopey is back. Earlier when you posted you just wanted to check if your Dopey was back, I didn't get it and was wondering who you were talking about!!

Hello Heather! I am hoping to go, but will have to wait and see. I am currently jobless, so hard to justify the expense. Maybe that will change between now and then but then not sure about the time off...sigh...

But I am ever hopeful... Oh, and yes I remember that dreaded VIP tour! I am sure I wrote her name down in some sort of trip report and will remember it eventually.

Thanks Beth! I'll probably share updates and of course the final product. I have 2 months to get this done, lol. The problem is I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like this that I'm going need all the time I can get! And I still have my September trip to think about. I'm supposed to be looking for patterns today and I don't have a clue where to start.

Thanks Carol it's just personal reasons. But thanks so much. I really had fun in Portland and so enjoyed our meet and hope that we can meet up again sometime!! Perhaps if we are ever at Disney at the same time or if we ever make it back up to Portland. Mom really enjoyed talking with you as well and I really appreciate you taking the time to drive over and spend the day with us!! Will miss seeing you but hopefully will be able to again sometime in the future.

Bella is there a site I go look for ideas for signature or do I just let you know what I like. I am so happy to even be going to have a signature that I am happy to let you do what ever you would like. Your work is so adorable and knowing me I would take to long to pick anything out ( Took me 18 months to pick out the fabric for sofa last time) I am going to give you Artist choice for my siggy. Can't wait to see what I get . It can be scarey, funny, beautiful, original, old time character, just what ever you have fun doing. .

I am going to be so happy I will start doing the happy dance now

Patty - Nope, no sight to go to for ideas or anything. I was just wondering if you had a favorite character you wanted in it, but I guess I'll just go ahead and make something.

Bella go to the fabric store -- like JoAnns. They will have a table with pattern catalogs. Go to the costume section of each and see what they have. If there is nothing look for a regular dress pattern and add and subtract to make the dress what you want. If there is not a costume pattern -- try to use a pattern from Simplicity I have found that company to be the easiest to work with. Remember you are going to spend 20 % of time laying out and cutting out pattern, 65% ironing, 5% rereading instructions and ripping seams, and then 10% actually sewing. Make sure you have the best seam ripper you can afford LOL . My seam ripper is my best friend when I am sewing.

You know there is a web page that might have just what you are looking for and if I read it right they will make in colors you request. Used to be sewing was so much cheaper then buying. Not sure if that is same anymore -- maybe I pay to much for material instead of waiting till it goes on sale.

Morning ladies!!

Went out singing last night & threw $10 into the Poker Machine & walked away $100 richer.....woo hoo!!!

Our trip is coming up fast & I can start making dining ressies this week......gets me all excited!!! Still no sign of our tax credit check......15 weeks on Monday....a bit frustrating. I told another family about it, they filed 6 weeks ago & got their check already!!! So unfair!!!!! I might have to try to call again, but last time it took 2 different phone #'s & wait times of 30+ mins each call. All they could tell me was they received it on a certain date & it was being worked on....so not sure another call would get me anything new.......I would have felt a lot better having that check before the government shuts down. No check....no trip!! Keep your fingers crossed it shows up this week!!!!!

Got woke up before 7:15 by knocking on the door, loud semi's in back dropping pallets & a car stereo blaring like an ice cream truck on steroids.....kinda hard to sleep thru all of that (especially when it happens all with in 5 mins of each other)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.....not doing anything today but being a toad......
