I know that myself and my friend Cathy will be signing up for one or both of these. I'm having a hard time committing though because I don't know the approx. time the dinner/s will be. Do you have any idea about the times you were wanting for reservations? (That would help me a lot! )

Stacie was interested in doing the Segway tour and was willing to over see organizing it, but it appears no one else was really interested. But I think it's a great time to take advantage of doing something like this, so I'm hoping more people will still decide to give it a try.
Heck, even if it just ends up that only you two want to go, that's still something and I know you guys would have fun together.

As for the meals, right now all I have is the list for Blue Bayou. I think if the others want to start posting their lists to see who's signed up for what, that might be a good idea, since it's almost time to make reservations.

Good morning, ladies!

I hope you all are doing well! It is starting to look more like Spring here...no more snow and there is sunshine!

I just wanted to post that I am 100% not going to be going on this trip. We owe money to the IRS this year and I cannot swing it with DH. I am super bummed. I was hoping to be able to meet all of you...and I am hoping that there is another trip in the future.

We do have a family trip planned for Sept 26-29 so if any of you are going to be there then....I would love to meet you!

I will still chat on here...I am just not going on the trip.

Hey girl. I'm glad your getting some sun finally. I am not glad to hear you for sure won't be making the trip. That just sucks!! I really do hate that.

But you know what, I don't see why this can't be an annual thing. Many of us have passes and live close enough that we can and should do this again!!! Why not right?? We deserve it. It can be our one sanity saving break each year!! LOL

And I don't have any plans to go in Sept. as of now, but if anything changes, you can be sure I'll be letting you know so we can meet up and hang out!! Heck, maybe we can ditch the families for a few hours and go have a nice lunch so we can talk and catch up.

I wanted to apologize for not getting back to people in a timely manner. In the last 20 days, I have only had 2 days off work. Half of our department is out sick, so I have had to put in a lot of overtime.

I hope to have tomorrow off and will get up to speed at that time.

No problem! Sorry it's so hectic. I had to send my paralegal home today--she was coughing and sounded like she was going to cough up a lung! She's been sick all weekend--so I hear ya on the issue with your department being down a number of people . . . . (of course in my case it's just the two of us . . . oh and occasionally DBF (yes girls--he's BAAACCCCCCCKKKKKKK!))

I know we don't need more suggestions for restaurants, but I got an email today regarding more restaurants opening in March 08 at GardenWalk, which is a few blocks from the Harbor entrance of DLR. Its coming along nicely and will be fabulous when its finished. Shops won't open until May I guess.

Right now CPK, Bubba Gumps and Cheesecake Factory are open. McCormick & Schmicks, PF Changs and Roy's should be opening in March.

LOL--GardenWalk is on the opposite side of Disneyland/DCA from Hojo's--so it would definitely be a longer walk--essentially Hojo's is on the northern end (think Northeast) of DLR and GardenWalk is on the Southeast). One suggestion--don't know how many will have cars--but we could drive! GardenWalk is on Katella if you look on a map. Katella runs along the south of DLR between DLR and the convention center.

My neighbor went to Bubba Gumps and said it was good . . . . but I would be just as happy staying at DLR and DTD.

Now if I could go sit down and eat after the park closes at Midnight, I'm all for killing time while we relax before bed. Pancakes at 1am anyone???? There's a Denny or something near by, right? It would be 24 hours, right, special just for us coming down.

If you tell us your room number I'm sure we can kidnap you for some time away from the family for an hour. Or you can sneak out and come back to the parks with us if they all go back to the hotel early. There will be a few of us running around until it closes every night.

I think quick and easy meals are best for you since it's your first visit to DL. You definitely don't want to waste time when there's so much to see.

Hi Andrea! Welcome!! Glad you can make it even if only for a few things. I'll add you to the front right now.
And that's where all the info is as far as the schedule, etc. So you can always check there and see what you'd like or are able to do.
