Seriously, welcome. The more the merrier. I'm glad you can join us. If you haven't already there is some info on the first page to read through. Any time any updates or changes are made, I'll try to post it there asap, so it doesn't get lost in the thread.
That just makes it a little easier to keep track of everything.

A note of caution, I'd avoid the wording "girls gone wild" as it is copyrighted. Girls Gone Disney was a nice play on words, but we don't want to have copyright issues. It can get pretty nasty!

I'm gonna go back and look at the styles again.

Okay, I like the first design better, but concerned about the wording.
Of the selections, I'd love to see the first design with lime green stencil on black t-shirts, or lime green t-shirts with black lettering. Personally, I'd like the lime green t-shirt idea the best. We would certainly stand out and be able to find everyone easily.

So please put my vote for #1 with Girls Gone Disney instead, and with a fitted shirt. I like the idea of lime green but I have to be super careful with that color since I have red hair!

Hello ladies, I'm back from our weekend trip and we had a good time except I got a little sick on Saturday night, so we just lounged around the hotel.

Capri ~ I love the shirt designs . Thanks for taking your time to get the project started. I love both designs, but I think I'll go with #1 since it's different than what I'd usually wear. So I'm voted for #1 in a fitted style.

Beth ~ I'm sorry to hear another one of your kids got sick. I hope your whole family has a clean bill of health before you leave on your trip .
Also, you can upgrade your Deluxe AP to a Premium and they will actually prorate the cost. For example, if you've already had your Deluxe AP for 4 months, they will only charge you $80 to upgrade ($379-$259=$120/12=$10/month). Does this make sense or have I only confused you .

We could order 2 shirts if we want (the top two designs that everyone likes). It would probably cost less than $25 total per person as long as we order around 45 t-shirts or more per design and fit (we would have to all order the same fit to keep the cost under $25), which shouldn't be too hard if our friends and family that are coming also order shirts. Afterall, they will be part of the group. Then we could all wear one design on a certain day, and the other design on another day.

Or, we could order 2 shirts of the same design, but in 2 different colors. Then we could designate a day to wear a certain color. Again, this would cost less than $25 per person.

Just thought I'd throw that out there for all of you to mull over. I'm not helping the decision making, am I?

Also, does everyone like the idea of putting your DisBoard name on the back of the shirts (friends and family could put their first name on the shirt)?

Ok, I have a question about the CCI, since I've never stayed there (always do Priceline). What's the difference between a standard Queen room and a Deluxe Queen room? Price difference is $10 per night, plus the 15% tax.

Standard rooms are approximately 360 square feet and can accommodate a maximum of four guests utilizing existing bedding.
Deluxe Rooms are larger by 40 square feet and can accommodate a maximum of five guests with the addition of a rollaway bed (extra charge).

I hope everyone is having a good day today so far.

I called CCI because it was discussed about keeping our rooms close together even though we aren't booking as a group. You know, on the same floor or what ever.

Well, the lady I spoke with at reservations was very nice but a little unsure of how we could work that. She suggested I talk to the group reservation coordinator. Ummmm, no thanks. Tried that, several times in fact. LOL
You know, I still never got an email from him with the info he was supposed to be sending me to get the process started. I'm so glad we decided not to try to do group reservation. Seems more frustrating then anything else.

Okay so anyways, the other suggestion she had was when we call, to let them know to make a note on your reservation that we are part of a ladies only group and when we check in we'd like to be close together, or at least in the same area, kwim?

So I just wanted to pass that info along. Gotta run, kids are almost home!! TTYL!

Thanks Beth. I already changed/edited my link in the other post to show the new version for #1, so you don't need to do anything. I also changed #4 as well, because that one also said "Girls Gone Wild" in the caption, but now it says - Thinking Of A Million "Girls Gone Disney In Style" Dreams.

I wouldn't mind ordering 2 shirts. Then I wouldn't have to think as hard on what to pack.

Also, I think it would be cute to put our DIS name on the back of the shirt. But maybe we should also make name tags or something so it'll be easier to learn everyones names.

We didn't do too much on Saturday. Went on a few rides, shopped, and hung out in the lounge at Paradise Pier. The lounge was nice, but it did get crowded. My son got up to get a drink & someone took his chair . So he ended up standing until someone else left. I was helping my daughter get her snacks, so I didn't see who the culprit was. They had nice snacks but I didn't get to enjoy them that much since I wasn't feeling well. They offered fried shrimp, chicken quesadillas, egg rolls, crudite platter, cheese & cracker platter, crackers, trail mix, chips, uncrustables, hot & cold drinks including beer and wine and mini desserts & cookies. Also the rooms on concierge level get turn down service. They left disney chocolates on the pillows and 4 Mickey rice crispie treats w/chocolate ears. The breakfast was standard continental type breakfast, but it did fill us up until it was time for lunch.

On Sunday we did a lot more rides and saw the Christmas parade. Also, while we were in line for Alice in Wonderland we saw Mr. Mosby (sp?) from the Sweet Life of Zach & Cody. I don't know his real name. But he was really friendly and waved to my DD, since she couldn't stop staring at him . My DD loves that show so she was really excited.
