We are almost going to have a sign to let everyone know who we are. Otherwise, we are going to be checking out every lady who comes onto the property. We might scare them!
I will have my lime green Mickey tags attached to whatever purse I decide to bring.

I was think of putting MGMHPC on my backpack. Are we going to put signs on our hotel room doors? I've heard of people doing this.

That's the good thing about Southwest, I can cancel the 1st reservation and get all the credit to use on the 2nd reservation, which right now is still the same price.

Me and my friend Cathy fly into Ontario Thursday afternoon. I think we land around 3:30pm or something like that, so we'll check into the HOJO probably around 4:30pm, and then go through the gates of DL sometime after that.

When is the dinner again on Thursday night? I didn't sign up for it because I know Cathy and I will be really excited to hit DL once we get there (and I think DL closes at 8:00pm that night). Anyway, I think I remember it being an early dinner, right? And then after dinner, some of the ladies are meeting for drinks at the UVA Bar? If you ladies are meeting for drinks, Cathy and I would like to join you, and I can give out t-shirts sometime this evening too.

What do you all use? -- I'm open to suggestions! I don't think I could ever be one of those people who just has their ticket/pass in the lanyard and some cash/credit card in the pocket--I would feel totally naked!

I'm the same way! I have to carry something at all times. And when I'm in the store, I have to push a cart, I can't carry a basket. Comes from years of pushing strollers. LOL

Very cool! Tell DH thank you--he did a great job!

I'm excited by this because we can use the tag in the future on other trips too to "alert" other Disboarders that we are there!

I like it, but I have a hard time spending more than $10 on a purse! That would be my frugal side coming out, hopefully she's nowhere in sight at the end of April!

I love the lanyard!!! I will have to get one of those! Sadly I had to skip the shirts when I looked in my closet and re-looked at all my baby doll shirts (over 250 of them no joke) many that I don't even wear and thought maybe I don't need any new shirts

Note: I am not some crazy horder I use to work at a popular retail shop and between my discount and the encouragement (to put it lightly) to wear new merch. I bought a lot in my 4 years there.

Door signs!! I love it!!

I made a wreath for WDW when we went for Christmas. I used lime green, kelly green and red Mickey head paint chips, and glued them on the greenery and hung it on our door. Put my screen name on it too. But alas...........no one from the DIS probably ever saw it.

My head is spinning now!!!

Ruth and I do arrive at LAX at 11am I think. So hopefully we will be at the HoJo by 2pm. (That gives about 2 hrs for traffic from the airport to the hotel and an hour to find our bags and our ride to the hotel)

I plan on trying to head over to the UVA Bar Thursday too if we can get in. I need to get my first ever DL fix in before that.

I thought I read somewhere that the HoJo was going to try to get us all on the same floor close together. So we should be really easy to find each other's rooms without any decorations. lol

Stacielee, if you ask Ruth, get her to put a note in the ressie that you will be arriving at x:xx AM. They might be able to get you that one room early if nobody was checking out of it that morning. Oh like others suggest, a snooze by the pool if it is nice out.

Bags for the park. Hmmm, I have been known to use the little neck pocket thing. Then I just stuff my jacket pockets with a camera, lip balm and a poncho. (I always have a jacket with me and will wrap it around my waist when I'm not wearing it. Sometimes those rides are chilly and then I can wear it or cover my legs.) If I need to take suntan lotion, I'll take a little bag about the size of the baggalini. That way I can also carry around a Coke or water too.

Oh, I almost forgot! I really like the Lanyards. I'm still debating on another shirt. It would make packing so much easier on the way there and it is another souvenier.

Hmmm. If we do door signs we could hang them with those 3M Command Decorating Clips--you pull the inside of it and it adheres to the surface and then you can remove it later without damaging the surface.

I definitely need to get my color printer set up this weekend! I want to experiment with a lime green mickey head--I swear I downloaded from someone a pattern. I may also have to do a Home Depot run (maybe I can get the Boyfriend to do it! He's trying to get in my good graces!)

Thinking again about the baggalini thing--is it a backpack or sling or can it be worn cross-body--does anyone know? It actually looks like it would be really functional--I might have to look it up . . . .

Baggallini: I have the messenger bag one...don't like it. I never seemed to master the elegence of getting things out of it without taking it off and rooting around. It also rubbed my neck a bit raw. Maybe that is because I really have broad shoulders...dunno. I have it in teal..if someone would like to try it out..and keep it if you like it....let me know!!! I will bring it with me. I have tried to like it. Nope, not so much!!!

I plan to bring a few cases of water so we can start with a water for the AM.....what else do we need?

Can you fit a sweater in the baggallini? I am thinking of getting one but I am unsure if it would fit everytihng.

My first reaction to your question Sarah was --oh no, it is too small. But then I pulled out my messenger bag from the alarming depths of my closet and stuffed my hooded Mickey sweatshirt into the main compartment. Yep--it fit..made the bag a bit chubby, but it wasn't a totally tight squeeze. So, I then added my smallish digital camera and my wallet and hung a water bottle on the outside, and it all fit. I could have added more. (not a lot more, but someother small esssentials) I was surprized!!! I've always just zipped my jacket to the strap and carried it on the outside!!!

Oh, and my sweatshirt is pretty big---unisex large so pretty bulky.

So, maybe I should rethink it...nope...still don't like it!!
