Good morning ladies! I've been asking (nagging) my dh all week to design the lanyard for us. I'm hoping he'll have it done by Friday and then I can start taking orders for the brown/black shirts.

Got a full day ahead of me today. See y'all later!

I can't wait to see what they look like!

Thank you everyone!! I have to admit I felt a little ignore in this thread earlier and thought I might not fit in and a bad day mssed with my mood too.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.
I'm sorry you felt that way. The thread moves fast sometimes and it's easy for posts to be missed, but I'm glad you've decided to stick with the trip and I know you won't regret it. :)

Good Morning!

Fairycat - you live in the Antelope Valley right? So do I, we should meet up befor hand then we will know each other. I'm bringing my mom on the Ladies Trip. I have never met anyone in person yet. I just know them from chatting on the DIS.
Oooh, that's a good idea!! I wish I had more DISers near me. I'd love to hang out!!

All ready just sitting here watching the Disneyland information DVD. Yup tears of excitement woot so ready. Now to get rid of our four feet of snow. Another snow day today. I have never had so many snow days in one year. It is all because I am going to Disneyland and taking an extra 3 days vacation I am sure:lmao:
LOL Sorry about the snow! Think warm, happy thoughts. :goodvibes

Well, I just wanted to pop in and say Hi and Good Morning!! Talk to you all later.

Well, the nagging worked! :thumbsup2

Here is the tag for the front of the lanyards. I used my name/screenname as an example:

Here's a photo of the whole enchilada (so you can see how it will look with the pink lanyard, shirt, etc.) I think the colors will work well together.

The lanyards are going to cost $3 each. I won't be taking orders until Friday when I will also start the orders for the shirts. So please wait until then before PMing me, ok?

Thanks, girls. Hope you like 'em! :goodvibes

Very cool! Tell DH thank you--he did a great job!

I'm excited by this because we can use the tag in the future on other trips too to "alert" other Disboarders that we are there!

Thanks again for doing this . . . . . :cool1:

Ladies: just curious what all you plan to carry with you into the parks on this solo jaunt --I usually take a cross-body purse of some type, but it is always a tight squeeze to get in the camera and all my necessities (lipstick, eyedrops, keys, etc.) I'm constantly in search of the "perfect" Disney bag! Plus I don't want it too heavy to avoid neck-aches! I guess I could go back to a fanny pack, but I'm packing my own fanny--you know what I mean? ;)

What do you all use? -- I'm open to suggestions! I don't think I could ever be one of those people who just has their ticket/pass in the lanyard and some cash/credit card in the pocket--I would feel totally naked!

Cheryl

Callie - I totally love the shirt and lanyard! VERY COOL!!!:thumbsup2

Cheryl - I always need a backpack to hold my stuff (camera, wallet, water bottle, sweatshirt for when it gets chilly, cell phone, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc...). I like to come prepared for anything.

Hi Cheryl,

I've been doing the samne thing as you. I always take my black tote bag that is made out of wind breaker fabric, cuz it's so light. But I wanted to do something different this time. I even considered sewing something. But just this morning, I was going through a flyer from JC Pennys, and there was a picture of a lime green across the shoulder tote, that looked light wieght. So I'm going to check it out. I'd post a pic of it, but I don't know how. Maybe you could find it on the web? Like I said it's lime green with a black strap.

I'm excited to see this. And if you like it too, go for it. Same T-shirts, landyards, and purses. Woo Hoo!!!:woohoo: :rotfl:

I have a Tinkerbell backpack. For me, it's just so much easier than a purse or other type of bag. I can keep both hands free to EAT!

I think I found it . . . I'm not a big patent leather fan (and that is at the top--right--was the bag $38.50?) I know I'm picky--but thanks for the head's up! I may check out Penney's generally--haven't been there in a long time . . .

Hi Cheryl,

Is it the one that is $38.50, by Emma Q?

I'm not sure if it is patent leather or not. I was hoping it was more like that micro-fiber stuff.

I just looked at the pic again. Yes it does look like black patent at the top, and green micro-fiber on the rest. The cost is $38.50, so it must be the same one.

I'm picky as far as size goes. Anything too big, makes me look funny I think. Also the weight. I won't buy it, if it is too heavy. I fill it with enough of my junk as it is. :rolleyes1

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

You found it!!

What do you think?:confused3

I like it, but I have a hard time spending more than $10 on a purse! That would be my frugal side coming out, hopefully she's nowhere in sight at the end of April! :lmao:

I usually use a backpack but I was looking for something new this time.

Yeah!! Get rid of her!! :lmao:

Well along with my flyer came an extra 15% off coupon. So if I like it, I would be paying $32.70 or something like that.

I hope I like it, cuz I need something new. :woohoo:

I have that same coupon, maybe I should go shopping today, or tomorrow... Heck, how about both days!!! :rolleyes1
