HELLO LADIES!!!! I would love to join you at the MEET. I am in transition right now as I am in the process of relocating from MA to So. Cal.; actually right on the door step of Disneyland. DH accepted a position with an engineering company that has sent him to Orange Cty on a 5 year project. This has all happened very fast and he arrived in CA on May 19th. I will be joining him on or about July 1st.

ANYHOO, I have been perusing all the Disneyland forums on the DIS and saw your thread and wanted to say if I have my act together by March (which I am sure I will) I would love to meet up with all of you.

I won't need a room as we appear to be settling in Irvine. Just a hop, skip and jump to the Land!

I remember when I was younger and I pushed two chairs together and slept on them, because there weren't enough beds! ...I think I'm too tall to do that now though

I pity the one under the who gets stuck under the sink. That must be where you put the one who snores the loudest as punishment!

My name is Cheryl by the way. I will ask my sister if she wants to come from Vegas and join us. I don't think I am going, I am going. I will get there after I pick the boys up from school and drop them off at home. Now I am excited. I just renewed my ap's last week so I am ready. LOL!!

Yeah it has been over a year. DH doesn't really know how to do all the stuff I need to do for DS. Especially figuring out insulin for all of his injections. I am the one that does it all. DS1 knows how to do a lot of it so I feel comfortable leaving him with DS2. It is time for me to get out and away from this. But I have to wait until March

Hey, hey, hey!! I thought you guys were trying to encourage me to come!!! This kind of talk is not very welcoming!!!!! And I am ever so happy if I come, to do 4 to a room...I feel way less guilty about soloing it if the money is minimized!!!

Or is that Mini-me?.....all this talk of Lost has me confused.

I watch Lost, but did much better following it when I marathoned 4 episodes at a time thru NetFlix!!!

Hi Cheryl, nice to "meet" you. Your sis is in Vegas? Me too! So tell her if she joins you, she won't be the only one coming from this area.
And you've got to put those APs to good use.

Wow, that has to be hard dealing with the injections and insulin. And then to feel like it's mainly you handling it all the time has got to take it's toll. I think some alone time to recoup and have some fun on your own with some friends is just what the doctor ordered.
I wish you didn't have to wait so long but at least it will give you something to plan for and look forward to when the going gets rough.

Beth where in Vegas are you? My sis is in South Las Vegas off of Saint Rose.

It is tough but then sometimes I think that I do it my way and if he didn't and tried to do it differently I wouldn't like that. What takes it's toll is getting up at midnight and 3 a.m. every night. I truly need coffee in the morning for a jump start. I can't wait. Maybe I will go to the mini meet. I have 2 banquets to go to on Friday night so I might have some black, saggy bags under my eyes. LOL!!
