AWESOME!!! DH is out there now, loving every minute of it....although he did say there is allot of traffic, more than we have but I actually live an hour outside of Boston on the MA/CT line.

DH said everyone keeps asking him to say "Park your car in Harvard Yard"!!!

DH is in Corporate Housing in Irvine right now. He has been over to DTD DL for dinner at HOB!!!

Beth where in Vegas are you? My sis is in South Las Vegas off of Saint Rose.

It is tough but then sometimes I think that I do it my way and if he didn't and tried to do it differently I wouldn't like that. What takes it's toll is getting up at midnight and 3 a.m. every night. I truly need coffee in the morning for a jump start. I can't wait. Maybe I will go to the mini meet. I have 2 banquets to go to on Friday night so I might have some black, saggy bags under my eyes. LOL!!

I'm not that familiar with all the areas of Vegas yet, so I'm not sure where Saint Rose is. We just moved here last August. We are close to Summerlin. Do you know where the Boca Park shopping are is? There's a Target (LOVE THAT STORE! ), and some restaurants including a Cheesecake Factory there.

Anyway, we are above Boca Park but just below the Summerlin border, if that makes any sense.

I hear ya on wanting to do it your way. I'm like that too. I always refuse help even when I shouldn't just because I feel like I need to do it my way. LOL Wow, midnight and 3 a.m.? It's like having a newborn again, huh?

That would be great if you could join us for the mini-meet! Sort of get to know a few of us before hand. Just go heavy on the concealer, that's what I always do after a late night.

Ahhh...LOVE VEGAS. We have been 2x and moving to SO CA., DH says we will have to plan a trip to Vegas!!!!

Yes, you must! You'll only be about a four hour drive away. Or less depending on traffic and how fast you drive.

Ugh, the traffic. That's one thing I don't miss about SoCal. (not that it's much better here) There used to be certain times and certain freeways you knew to avoid. Lately it seems there is no rhyme or reason to it. And of course the price of gas is high too, but that's just about everywhere.

Also my roommate from the last trip (MamaKate) will not be attending the entire get together from what I've read of her posts. I believe she's going to try to come for a meal or two (hopefully). So anyway I'm going to be in need of a roommate (or 2 or 3).... So if anyone's interested let me know.

Hey Steph..glad to hear that it is nothing to worry about--except surgery, ugh. Wasn't your bladder surgery today? I thought you had mentioned Thursday. I hope everything goes well, recovery is easy and life is good. (heck you've had THREE kids, what can be harder than that?).

I second the invitation to room with us, if you can take that much crowding. In April we mostly took turns in the bathroom and went to sleep. At least I went to sleep. (I don't know if you have heard about it or not, apparently, I snore)!!!

It is likely I won't make it...but now want to. So then, it would be just 3, not 4.

Oh, and I now have a b'zillion coupons for LegoLand, so would love to send you a couple. Maybe having the coupons in hand will stimulate your DH to leave the house!!!!

Hey Steph. Glad to here all is well. And I can understand the docs concern for wanting the lump out. Better safe you know. Wishing you the best for your upcoming surgeries. Please keep us all posted.

And if you need a roommate, you are more than welcomed to join me. Amy says she is iffy. Im gonna make her go. And I think Cristabel was still wanting to room. Not sure if they will be staying the whole time or just a night or two. I am planning on staying the entire trip this time. So if you don't mind sharing, being in tight quarters, and LPF.....then please join us! Cost will be kept low!

Really wish Katie was gonna join us. But at least she will make it for a few meals.

Thanks for the well wishes. I appreciate the offer for rooming w/ everyone. I have no problem w/ 4 to a room. I wasn't in my room all that often in April, just a place to rest my head, shower and change.

STEPH!!! That is such great news!! OMG, I am so happy to hear that. I know you still have the surgeries to go through but at least you know it's nothing serious right now. And it is better to be safe then sorry.

I saw we definitely do some celebrating!! Drinks are on me!!!

Thanks so much Amy. I'm still working on getting dh to go San Diego.
My bladder surgery will be next Friday. It's weird I'm almost 30 and have never had anesthesia and in a matter of 10 days I'll be going under twice.

Oh and thank you so much Beth for the lesson on multi-quoting, this was my first time doing it.

Hi Tracey!! Wow, we are getting lots of new victims, I mean, uhhhhh new ladies to join us today!!

Oh, and about the VIP Tour, I know mostly all the ladies on the last trip did it, and loved it. But there are enough new ladies this time around, and maybe some of the others would like to do it again, that I'm sure you'll have no touble getting a group of 9 together.

If I go to the OVMA vet conference in February, I cannot come to the DIsMeet..end of story. But now, I am rethinking my traditional homage to my college years (going back to OSU)and look into another conference. I need lots of CE each year in order to stay licensed...and the Ohio conference is $ friendly!!

My dearest friend who I hang out with at the conference has been trying to get me to look at other places to go for years. Maybe 2009 is the year?


And despite my snoring reputation...I have me 3 roommates!! So there!!
