eatmypixiedust, I forgot to comment on the mega-cute monorail set you have around your tree. Someone on this thread has a train around their tree that made me wonder if E has enough Thomas and Brio track to do that, but then I saw the monorail track and I forgot all about my plans to check.

Okay girLie GirLs.. i'm going to plan to ward off the "christmas evening letdown"...

So... i'm looking for some of your favorite movie recommendations. I'm going to plan a movie night with who ever wants to come over and have different movies at different times with movie snacks ..like big boxes of juju beans, red vines and all that kinda stuff.. { they have all those candies at the dollar store in the big boxes just like at the movies} Then i'll make some chili con queso in the crockpot so if people want nachos they can make their own..and set out some inidividual microwave bags of popcorn. Sounds like fun to me.

So two movies for sure i'm putting on the list..

Millions ..... have You seen this..it came out a few years ago..it's so Wonderful!

I like to use TinyPic. My pictures are always there. It seems like I see empty boxes lots of times with photobucket.

So, if you go to the website,
click the browse button,
choose the pic you want off your computer,
choose the size you want it to be. (The pics of my boys in costumes is the message board size, the pic in my signature uses the website/email size.) Then hit upload now, it can take a few minutes to a few seconds depending on the size of your pic.
Then a page shows 'Thanks, we got your image!'
If you use the IMG code for forums and message boards, you just have to copy and paste it into your TR. No need to add anything because the IMG commands are already built in.

That's it! I think it's super easy. If you want to be able to revisit your picture, create an account and upload to it, I never do. I find that once I show it, I'm done with it. HTH's!

Thanks for all the compliments on the costumes everyone! I was going to post a picture on Nathan is his coming home from the hospital outfit. I was on bed rest for a couple of months with him, so I hand embroidered a blanket, hat, outfit, and socks for him to wear. I had made a smocked saque for him the month earlier. It took me HOURS, but I had the time. I couldn't find a good pic of it though.

Morning all. Had fun last night watching Mamma Mia. The girls loved it. I just LOVE those Abba songs. I have always liked them and we have some great musical theater here in town and mom, Shane and I usually get tickets every year and I saw the play and loved it. Plus I saw Muriel's wedding which was based on a lot of Abba music as well. And of COURSE I have the CD!!

Dh even popped popcorn last night so that was fun although it is doing NO good for me to get these 2 lbs off that I gained on my trip. I ALMOST had them off but I have been going up and down like a yo yo ever since I have gotten back. I was back down to 156 once but I have been going back and forth between 157 and 158 for days now. I was going between 155 and 156 before I left but I got up as high as 158.8 right after the trip. Today I was 157.6 and I have seen as low as 156.8 since I've been back so hopefully I can get it back off again. But with these stupid holidays and parties it is practically impossible.

But as I said once January hits it is ON! I started out at 187 and have been as high as 195 so my goal was around 135 but I seriously doubt I can get back there. That is what I was when I married shane but that was ALSO before I had two babies and 2 c sections so I don't think I will EVER see THAT number again. If I could even get to the 140's I would be happy. My old OB wanted me at an even 150 for health reasons WAY back at my 6 week post partum after I had Shelby back almost 8 years ago so we shall see. I have gone up and down on several diets and the lowest I have gotten was 158 and now 155 so I am CLOSE but no cigar. So if I can get to at least the 150 I will achieve THAT goal but I would like to get a little lower just for my own satisfaction and if I can manage to go even farther that would be great but I don't know if my body will go much farther. It really likes to stay at a certain weight so we shall see.

I just don't want to go back UP. As I am sure all you dieters know whenever you end up going back up you always add MORE than you started with.

I was wearing a 14/16 and even an 18 at one point and I am now in a 10 and would LOVE to get back to an 8 if possible so we shall see.

Anyway today I am off on my hunt for the ornaments and to finally hopefully get caught up on the laundry.

I LOVE Big Fish too!!! At first I thought it was so weird, but as I watched it, I thought it was the best story. And of course the ending was amazing when everyone is there. I hate the after Christmas let down as well, which is why for the first time we are planning to go to the movies. I'm just not sure my movie choice (Marley and Me) isn't going to make everyone cry.
I think your plan for a movie night sounds fun. I love those theater candy boxes.

I use Photobucket and have never had a problem. Those empty boxes will only show up when you've posted a pic and then delete it or move it to another folder in your PB account. Just an FYI.
But you gave good directions. I'm terrible at that!

Isn't Big Fish just the best story? When Jessica Lange crawls in the bath tub with Albert Finney and they both have all their clothes on.. it just melts your heart.. you realize.. how is she ever going to live without him It's just *so* well done. The characters and how it all comes full circle. I laugh and cry throughout the movie and i'm not one who cries at movies.

are what make the picture show up. The first time, you didn't have the codes. The second time, you have a double set of codes. That's all you have to watch out for. Once you do it a few times, you'll be a pro! Those Grandchildren of yours are beautiful!

Thanks for the explanation Beth! I always wondered why photobucket did that. I guess it's not them, but user error. If something ever happens to tinypic, I'll check them out.

DH just left to do an errand for Santa. The SLP comes at 3pm. So, I have a little time to just chill. I love mornings like this.
