WendyLouWho..You are Young and Single Date Boy A through Boy Z and select ones in between!:thumbsup2

Kelmac.. i'm glad You and Your mom are going on the scavenger hunt.. it should be fun. Now You have me thinking about booking another room to bring my mom. hhmmmm...

Little black cloud... i'm glad that you are coming...it should be alot of fun.

Hmm...it is possible. I work at an elementary school and I have seen some 3rd grade girls reading that book. One of the girls is now reading the Host. I am not sure a child that age can even understand half of what is going on in those books.

I am Mormon and I the woman who wrote the book is Mormon. The LDS store here has her books for sale. I think some parents (in this area) think just because she is a Mormon, that her books are okay for the kids to read. :confused3I am just speculating and could be (most likely) wrong.

I did not like New Moon either. It took me quite a while to read it.
I just started Eclipse, I'm not very far yet.

My friends and I bought are shirts last night.
I was having a hard time choosing between
Boys are just better in books
or
Screw being a princess I want to be a vampire...

OMG! I want both of those shirts!

What is it with ex's? Mine just invited me to Vegas Feb 20-23?? hmm thats just mere days before my birthday....

I don't know. I swear the have a pager that goes off when they know their ex is happy and they have to get their way in and make us all confused and stuff.

Hi everybody:

Wendy and Jordansmommy: I'm there on the ex thing. I broke up with one in 2001 and he still calls me at least once a week.

Hi Cheryl!

Exs are weird. Sometimes it's just so out of the blue when a ex contacts me that it amazes me.

To him or from him? ;)

I need a little girl Beth. I want an excuse to watch the Tinkerbell movie! :rolleyes1 popcorn::

I rented it from Netflix and watched it by myself, no excuses needed there!

Hmmmmm . . . . wouldn't you all like to know! (Actually, this one would probably call himself "Boy X"--for X-tasy--LOL. He has an ego issue--can you tell? :lmao: :lmao: )

Sigh: as an aside, I am so flummoxed about Boy A and Boy B. Very confused by the whole thing . . . .

One day you'll have to share all your ex drama with me, maybe we can take a few thousand runs around the Rivers of America on the Mark Twain and swap stories! :rotfl:

Hmmm...OK! That sounds good to me. :thumbsup2

Tinkermel: Yes they will have the Christmas stuff up. That's our whole reason for this trip. We were there for F&W festival last time in 05 and they were JUST starting to put up the Christmas stuff as we were leaving and we said we HAVE to come back to see it. Then when they did the lights on the SB castle at DL last year I knew I HAD to see it in Florida. Of course we already had the trip planned anyway but we were going to go earlier in the month but I am glad we moved it back. I usually would have never gone at such a crowded time as T'giving but at least this way we will get to see everything. We will be there for the Osborne lights, and we are seeing Candlelight Procession and MVMCP. I can't wait!!!

Cheryl: Yeah I just broke down and said to heck with it. I packed all long pants and long sleeve yet lightweight shirts. I figured we can roll up the sleeves but I would MUCH rather be that way then be cold. And I doubt I will be too hot. I can wear jeans and a lightweight top and not be too hot as long as the top is not too heavy and then we brought jackets to layer with if it is colder. I know it is not going to be summer hot with the humidity like when we were there in May. When we went in 05 I wore sweats the whole time so I am not too worried. And heck worst case scenario I can always buy stuff :)

And you guys have got me hooked. I knew I wanted to see the movie Twilight cuz it looked interesting but I didn't know that much about it but after you guys were talking like mad women I had to see what all the fuss was about so I bought the book (the orig) for the plane ride. I am sure I will get hooked but they had the whole set you could buy. All 4 books or whatever in a nice neat little boxed set. I wasn't THAT ambitious cuz I truly don't have time to read anymore. I bought a book when I went to St. Louis in July and STILL have not opened it. I usually buy 2 or 3 magazines and read those and then do the crosswords and by then I am tired and take a nap and by then I am where I need to go. So who knows. I need to fly someplace like Eurpoe or Asia to REALLY read a book that big LOL.

Oh, I hope you like it! The first book is the best out of the first three I've read so far, so there isn't really a need to read the whole series IMHO. I feel in love with Edward though, so I shall keep on reading!

I'm the same with with books on vacation. I bring them, but then I end up buying a magazine in the airport and just read that on the plane. I still continue to bring a book every time though.

Quick question for you all:

I arrived here late. The tote bag exchange. We are just exchanging bags correct? I don't want to show up wiht just a bag, if others are filling the bag. Thanks!

Heather

Yep, it's just the bag. Of course, if you want to fill it with wine, cheese and crackers, feel free to do so and be sure to give it to me! ;)

Either that or a couple of tickets for lunch at Club 33. I just can't decide, but if you'd rather have wine and cheese... :rotfl:

Hard to say... hmmm. I've been to Club 33, but I could always go again, but wine is just SO yummy. I don't know, I'm torn! :confused3

Kelly, I hope you enjoy Twilight. It's a real easy escape book. And don't listen to my new BFF, Wendy, about only finishing Book 1. She clearly doesn't know what she's talking about. :sad2: How can you not find out what happens to the three main characters? I mean, so much left unanswered until Book 4, which I enjoyed very much (despite mixed reviews).

January, there are some pretty sexually passionate scenes written in the books. I won't let my 11 year old read them, but mostly because I don't need her getting the wrong impression of what real love is like.

BTW, yep ladies, I'm reading backwards and not using the multi-quote feature. Sorry for being lazy!

Hi everyone! I just started reading Twilight. When does the movie come out? Hopefully I'll have it finished by then.

How could you tell someone not to listen to me!? I'm in shock!

:rotfl:

I guess I'll have to finish book four, then tell you if it's worth it. ;)

As far as Club 33 goes, once upon a time I did have a connection, but no more. :( So you don't have to be my BFF anymore!
