Hi all. DH just had a phone interview and now they have asked him to come in for an in person interview! Very exciting. And if he gets in his starting class will be September 28....so after our Disney trip.

I threw out my back at work this morning so I am home on the lap top on the couch. I can't go to the county fair with my family which I had been looking forward to all year. I hate not getting to have that experience with my son especially since he is old enough to really enjoy it this year.

Oh well, there's no changing what is.

I'm back home now. Had a fun night out with Ruben. Now it's back to laundry and cleaning. Last weekend before school starts so I need to make sure all my "ducks" are in a row and ready to go.
Plus tomorrow night his parents are watching the kids so we can go out again!!

Tomorrow, Saturday the 22nd, is the 10th anniversary of my Toby's passing (DS)...or as I prefer to say, his angel day. It seems like forever and only yesterday that I last heard his voice and felt his bear hug.

Mia (DD), Sophia (DGD) and I will have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory - the last place we all had dinner together. We will also make a special donation to charity that was important to him and decide on another Memorial. I miss him everyday...sometimes every moment.

Thank you for all of your well wishes, prayers and expressions of support for my surgery. I am doing really well, a little pain, a lot of stoned-ness, and even more cabin fever. I am not much of a relaxer, so staying down is not something I relish.

I wish I could be there tomorrow with you Cristabel...have fun!!! One of these days I will meet up with you!!

I wish I had a crystal ball and knew if I would be up for a little DL the last week of summer...before my DD starts back to school on the 8th. Hojo's has opened a few of those nights up for the ET rate.

I may be a bit witchy...but no crystal ball here.

Morning everyone!

Well Josh left last night for his vacation to visit his family. So I'm home for 2 weeks with the kids. The girls are in school during the week so it's just Rhys and I for most of the day. I've written a huge to do list (big projects and the like) that need more time than I normally have on a given weekend. It's going well so far, of course this is just day one I'm sure I'll being singing a different tune on day 13 .

I hope that Kelly is doing well.

Glad to hear that AmySue is on the mend.

I hope you all have a great weekend. Oh and it's quite weird here because we woke up to cloud cover and sprinkles.

Ruben and the kids are off swimming with my in-laws, then later we are all going to Chuck E Cheese, and tonight Ruben and I will go out again while his parents stay with the kids. Should be fun! And probably our last time for awhile, so we'd better enjoy it. lol

We are thinking of starting the Scavvy Hunt around 9:30 to 10:00am on Saturday. If we start at 10:00 and give out questions and rules, that should take around 15 to 20 minutes to get all of our acts together. From there, it is the mad rush. Then the hunt would officially end at 12:30. It will take about 20 minutes or so for prizes, and accolades!! If you had your Club 33 stuff in lockers, could you be ready to go for a 1:30 ressie? Orrrrrrrrr....If we move the time to 9:30, than that makes it even earlier.

What I am trying to do here, is keep Goofys and Napa on Saturday night, so those having to leave on Sunday can still make these get togethers. Then move Cove Bar back to Sunday afternoon.

How does all of that sound ladies?

I have been rolling the schedule around in the back of my mind for a few days (compulsive planner ) and I like this idea. Maybe it could look line this:

Saturday
Scavenger Hunt (start at 9:30)
Late Lunch: Cafe Orleans/Club 33 (this is the day after my birthday if that gets me any points )
Dinner: Goofy's Kitchen OR Napa Rose (are we going to pick one? Sound like most people are leaning toward Napa. I agree that we always go to GK with the kids and would like to try Napa)


Sunday
Segway Tour
Brunch: HOB Gospel Brunch (are we thinking 10am or 1pm?)
Cove Bar for drinks (I have to leave Sunday and hate to miss this so I will need to get a few of you to join me here another night )

I went to aerobics this morning (where is that pat-on-the-back smilie?) and now I need to get the house cleaned up. Bryan (DS) is coming home tomorrow from spending the summer working at camp so I don't want him to see the same messes he saw before he left in June.
