Good morning and TGIF!!
Mel I LOVE the idea of the buttons and I would be happy to pay you a little something for your supplies! I think mom would DEF wear a button since she can take it off and she LOVES pins and I KNOW I would wear it plus it would be a fun thing we could wear on future trips. And I LOVE the bling. Mom loves it too! She is one of those that wears those t-shirts with all the sequins and stuff. A little much for me but bling away!
And I am glad you are having fun in your daughters class. I am so disgusted with our school right now. I can count on one hand the number of field trips my kids have gone on and Katy is in 4th grade! I have NEVER been to Sutter's Fort and here it is in my own home town but I know that the school kids always usually go so I figured I would just wait and go with one of my kids. They are ALSO supposed to go up to Coloma to the gold site (which I HAVE been to but I thought it would be a fun outing) well now they are doing NEITHER. GRRRR. I am going to be REALLY bummed if they don't doing anything AGAIN this year. Last year Katy went to the planetarium here at our local science museum and that is it. It was ok but nothing spectacular after we were lucky enough to see the one in SF and in DC. But it just annoys me that this state is so "broke" that they are missing out on so much learning! Anyway off my soapbox now LOL
Courtney I forgot to mention it yesterday but good luck to mom and you can tell her I printed off pics of the pearl for the name tags but my stupid printer is getting worse. I did it twice but the lines on the pics are getting even worse so the pics aren't that great but that was the best I could do. I just don't print pics anymore and since it still works for black and white I just can't justify spending the money right now for a new printer. But mom and I are going to get the rest of the stuff to make the necklaces next week so hopefully they will look ok!
Heather I know what you mean about your boys and the words in the film. Having had a teen in the house we ended up letting the girls see a lot more movies than we prob would have had it just been them. We don't ever let them see R's unless it is something that is like purely action type related and then it is the VERY rare exception but PG 13 is usually the highest we will go and even some of THOSE we don't let them see. It is really sad because kids are exposed to SO much even on tv. Hopefully he will forget about it soon!
As far as facebook goes I don't get those notices because I had done a friend request to Dawn but it never got confirmed so I don't see those but couldn't somebody maybe right to the webmaster and say that she has passed on and out of respect perhaps they could not do that. Because I agree it can be upsetting! I thought I read somewhere that they were going to make a special area for deceased members so people could still visit their pages and leave condolences and stuff but it wouldn't do stuff like this for this very reason??
Anywho last night we watched CSI and Fringe although I was nodding off through most of it so I tivoed it and hopefully will get to watch it again tonight although we have GS again so who knows. May have to wait till sat. I thought it was the finale for the year but then they said it will be back on in April so I am glad! It was a pretty good one last night. I know Heroes ended last week too but they didn't say anything about that one coming back so I don't know but I think ending the beginning of Feb seemed weird to me but maybe it's cuz of the olympics. I am SO not looking forward to going out again tonight cuz it is raining and ugly again but oh well.
Then tomorrow we have Shelby's basketball game and hopefully nothing else so I can catch up on my tivos and I am thinking about renting the hurt locker. I wanted to rent it last weekend but wasn't sure based on just reading the box but now that it was nominated and the guy for best actor is from here local I want to see it. I checked the red box website and it is not at any of the boxes near my house so I may have to resort to going to blockbuster again.
Oh well. But it is nice to know that I CAN use the red box. I wonder if that is going to be a common thing, that the good movies are unavailable quite a bit at the ones near my house. That is the only other thing I like about going to blockbuster is being able to see what all was available cuz sometimes I don't remember what was coming out that I wanted to see till I get there and as someone pointed out not all boxes have "all" the movies. SOOO we shall see but I previewed what the ones closest to my house had and the slection wasn't too bad they just didn't have what "I" wanted this particular time but NEXT time I go to rent if they have what I want I am going to try it 
Anyway hope everyone has a good friday and I hope you guys have some fun plans for the weekend/superbowl!!!

I've been planning on going since I had the pleasure of meeting a few of you last year for the Dole Whip with Bawb picture.......heavy sigh.
That will be used to pay down one of our credit cards which went from 0 to $10G in about 3 months the end of last year. 
Yeah, I really need to get that under control because we have 4 credit cards, 2 car loans, 2 student loans and a home equity line of credit that I am juggling. 
), but I'm up again, and not really feeling better.
As a true Ride Wimp (tm), I love knowing there is a plan B for us.
