So I wanted to share with you ladies that my Mom had an interview last week at this place in Westlake Village. She got called back to take an ethics test yesterday and they called back today to tell her she passed and they would like her to come in tomorrow to take a drug test and background check. They told her if she was hired she would start on the 23rd. Please keep your fingers crossed she gets this job. It’s looking really good right now. She’s calling them right now to let the lady know she will be on vacation the 25th and 26th and is that still okay. I really hope she gets hired!!

With the promo code, it's $8 each way, plus I add a $1 tip so $9 each way. And I love that it's prepaid so I don't have to worry about having money with me when they pick me up.

You kind of have to play with the times. If you put in your actual flight time, it wants to pick you up 2:30-3 hours before. So I put in different times until I get one that about 1:45-2 hours before my flight.

I was thinking about going to Kohl's today, but that sale doesn't start until tomorrow! Patience!!!

Out of curiosity I went to Hoho's website to check the rates and the AP rate has dropped.. I redid our ressies for the lower rate and will keep checking up thru the 23rd to see how far they will come down.. Every little bit helps

Afternoon gals!

Just got back from meeting mom for lunch and running to the mall. We FINALLY found some pillowcases that were cute. They are pre-made ones that we aren't decorating ourselves but I think people will like them well enough. Plus we made the executive decision that we are not going to do the pirate shirt. It has just been WAY too much of a pain because we don't have the printers and trying to find someone to print it for us AND to iron it on has proven to be too much of a pain in the butt. We have the black hoodies and since others aren't doing them either I am not even worried about it. We are going to match on other days and our emblem was going to be on the back anyway so no biggie and that is one less thing I have to worry about.

So now we just need to do our name tags and get our candy and I think we are FINALLY done! That is a good thing cuz mom is REALLY busy at work right now and I am still trying to finish up the corp books, learn quick books and and I really only have next week cuz the following week the girls have off school and I won't be able to get much done with them off and I want to do some stuff with them anyway.

Then the week we leave I have to work Monday and Wed so it is good we are almost done!

Anywho while we were at the mall I FINALLY found some cozy Ug type slippers like what I wanted for Christmas and since that is what mom was going to get me and couldn't she got me those and then while looking for the pillow cases I found some REALLY cute bobby jack sheets on sale and so I picked those up for Shelby for her birthday. She LOVES Bobby Jack and anything monkey related. I got the sheets and mom bought her a matching throw pillow so I think she is going to be really excited!!

So it was a productive day.

Anyway that's bout it for me. The girls have talent show practice today so I don't have to get them for a bit. Just chillaxing till then.

For those ladies who are having time/crafty issues with the pirate shirts, I would be happy to print off the iron on for you and bring to the M&G (I have left overs from my wedding and can get 10 pages @ Michael's for ~$7 with my coupons). I think Tina offered to do ironing too (they should have a board & iron @ the HoJo). Just let me know via PM if you want me to print. No stress or pressure. Just don't want anyone to miss out on this year's shirt. Esp if you have a collection of the past 2 too.

Just checking in for the afternoon. School is busy busy busy! I have homework for econ 202, acct 201B, a quiz for Business writing, ISDS assigments and two sections of math homework to do over the weekend.

It's all good though because I'm up to speed and understanding most of it.

I hope you ladies have a nice afternoon. I'm supposed to be eating my lunch since this my break before Math. After math I'll be heading to the housing office to pick up my book before they close, hopefully I'll make it on time!

It's their instant coffee. It comes in little packets like Crystal Light does. It's pretty yummy too and is great for when you're traveling.

That was most definitely not me. I'm pretty sure the last time I ironed was to make last year's shirt!

DOH! Sorry I threw you under the bus. Honestly, the only time I iron is when my DH or I have an interview or I am making iron on shirts!!! I have a friend who iron's t-shirts! I'm lucky if mine get folded (usually wear them right from the clean basket.)
