I was just doing a quick catch up before my next meeting. Normally I work late on Wednesdays, but Ty got bit hard enough to break the skin at school today so we are making an emergency doctor's trip to get it looked at. So, I am not going to the three evening meetings I normally have on Wednesday nights... But, I am right there with you: GO CARLA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too. I looked on Sunday for a tiara but no luck. I need to actually go to the mall, but it is a half hour away and to tell you the truth I have no idea when I will be able to go.

My daughter Selena is going to get her braces tomorrow and then we're taking her for ice cream for lunch. I've never had braces so I'm not sure what to expect, but I know she's not going to want to chew at first. Dh has had them and thought she'd enjoy ice cream.

So after the special lunch we're hitting the mall and going to check our Claire's. Any ideas where else I can get a tiara?

I ordered a black Baggalini and now I regret getting it It was a great price, but I really prefer the bag I already have.

I have a Disneyland Fanny pack that I'm going to use. Everytime I bring a back pack I load it down with way too much stuff and end up with sore shoulders.

Are you going to the AV Mall? Will ya let me know if you find anything? I probably won't get over to that side of town until the weekend. Is there still a Claire's in the mall? I know there used to be one in Lancaster in that shopping center by the Jet Hawks Stadium.

I have way too much crap so I'm using a backpack. I'll have wallet, camera, snacks, gum, water bottle, soda bottle, hand sanitizer, comb, make-up, poncho, etc.

Good luck to Selena on the braces. My DD Noelle needs them too. We really need to get started on that for her. Let me know how it goes.

If you can't find one at Claire's sometimes the kids dress up section of the toys in Target will carry them, or the party stores like Party City.

Target or a bridal shop. Michaels had some too (and you might try Party City if there is one near you.)

Exactly my issue. I have a great backpack that i use when we do family trips, but normally my dh and I take turns with it so neither of us are completely sore by the end. I brought it to last year's ladies' only trip and my shoulders were screamin by the end. I love that it has the cell phone holder on the shoulder strap and holds a water bottle outside. That's why I thought I would like a Bagalinni.

I have a bag I got in Maui, but it has this wild blue Hawaiian print on it that is just going to clash with everything. I'm such a slave to fashion!

Oh dear, my mom just called and said she had to take my dad to the hospital (in Lake Havasu). He's 81 years old with congestive heart failure and diabetes. I guess he couldn't do anything at all.....not even the simplest thing, without losing his breath and gasping for air. I'm sure he must have fluid in his lungs. I'm really worried. He hasn't been doing well at all lately. My poor daddy.....I know he's getting up there in years, but I'd like to keep him around for awhile longer if I can.

I know we've had a lot of prayers here lately, but if any of you have a little leftover, could you say a prayer for my dad?
