Girls Only Disneyland Trip!! Old thread. New link in first post

Melody--while you were making sandwiches I put out a call for ladies wanting to do the MouseAdventure game on April 26th. We got so much response that we are registering two teams! I am sitting by the computer right now counting down the minutes until 8:00 a.m. to register.

Linda is registering the other team.

Then the other "big news" is that I bought my Grand Calif. DVC points last night. For the number of points I bought, I get a "free" 7 day DCL cruise! They will send a voucher and then I can book it. So that's what we were talking about. I'm hoping to go in the Fall/early Dec.

I have the funniest story... i'm laying down TRYING to put my youngest granddaughter down for her nap as we had an early lunch..

she has these gorgeous blue eyes and she's laying there playing with a lock of my hair.. she says with great seriousness..

Grandmudder.. there are *no* HaPpPy farts in disneyland..only HaPpPy Hearts!

TGIF!!! I am so glad this week is over. The kids don't have any school on Monday so it will be a nice long weekend.

I need to go over my shopping lists and see what else I still need for the trip. If I don't it will sneak up on me before I know it and I'll end up forgetting something.

I hope you all have a good day. Adam is home, still recovering and trying to keep his arm elevated, so we are going to kick back and watch Scream 3.

Hey, guess what? I'm a winner!!! I was packing away when the bell rang, so I went to check it out and nobody was there, but there were three boxes sitting there from Disney! Since I had not ordered anything (I have been forbidden!) I was puzzled, but once I got them in and started to open them, I remembered all the entries that I mailed off to Year of a Million Dreams. YEP, you guessed it! We are now the proud owners of 3 pairs of Disney Dream Ears. Isn't that cool

See, I think that's an omen. I got my dream ears in the mail a couple of days before I left on a Disney trip--so I think "Mickey knows."

(I have a friend who told me once he always washed new sheets before he uses them--so now I have to do that too. I guess now I'm going to be pre-washing new underwear too?)

Amy, I cried when I read your post as our beloved 13 yo siamese cat Coco is exhibiting the exact symptoms you described. We have an appointment with her vet Sat morn and I am now suspecting kidney failure. She stopped eating kibble altogeher and only eats a little soft. But she drinks water by the cupful. She normally weighs 9 lbs but I know she's lost a least a few, she feels boney. I know from scooping her box, the pee clumps are the size of a postcard and poo pellets like a chapstick tube. Usually they are close to the same size. It's only been about ten days. Last year she stopped eating much kibble and she had a bad tooth. After the vet pulled it (and cleaned her teeth), she was normal again. We were hoping that's what is was this time. Man oh man this will be hard for me if it's not. Cheryl and I both posted pix of our kitties on an earlier thread. They are all darling

Don't give up hope yet. Diabetes can show the same symptoms, not that that is a good diagnosis either. My first siamese, Taj, total love of my life, began drinking like a demon when he was 17, lived until 23, so some make it a long time.

Yeah, you don't? I always wash new clothes as I am creeped out by the thought other people have touched them. I got ringworm once after trying on bras at Jc Penneys.

I also get itchy from sizing in some new clothes.

I actually have no idea where mine is. I took it off and it was never to be seen again. Its actually so small that I can even see it I guess. But I would hope someone wouldn't put their toddler in a martini glass shirt. Just doesn't seem right.

I kept my hands to myself...but I made sure I had my big sunglasses on so I can look without them knowing.
