Yeppers. We are still trying to figure what we are gonna do about that fight. DBF and I will be coming home that afternoon from Vegas, and DD has a softball game that night at 5pm. So no party for us. Hopefully the team goes for pizza where it is showing. Or we may have to tivo it.

I haven't read it yet either. Or seen the movie.

Hmmm. Stacielee--is there a DVD player in the timeshare?

YOu gonna pick up some DVD's that are "behind the curtain"????

:rotfl2:

no--I was going to bring "Twilight" so you could see it (and we could watch Wendy swoon in person)

Hi ladies,

I wanted to check in with you. I'm doing good and have been very busy.

First of all, Mary Jo wanted to know how Monsters vs. Aliens was. Well, I thought the story was really pretty good. We saw the 3-D version, and although the 3-D effects weren't nearly as great as watching one of the Disneyland or WDW 3-D shows, it had decent 3-D effects for your typical movie theatre show.:thumbsup2

We're getting our 2 year old naughty dog (Sassy) spayed on Weds. In a way I feel bad, but geesh, I really don't want to go through another heat cycle with her. I wish there was a way to stop a female dog from ovulating (or at least stop her from bleeding) without major surgery and what basically is a hysterectomy. But we gotta do it. What choice do we have?

Tomorrow my brother wants to take me out to dinner and drinks.....and then to the Knitting Factory to see the band (gulp) Tesla. I'll be bringing my earplugs.:goodvibes

On the topic of Twilight, I did see the movie, but I haven't read any of the books yet. My hubby on the other hand, has read all of the Twilight books (he really liked them.....he couldn't put them down), which I think it hilarious!:lmao:

I'll have to ask him who he likes better.....Edward or Jacob.:rotfl2:

So it's Day 1 of Spring Break around here and it's not off to a good start.

Something tells me it's going to be a long week......... :rolleyes1

I hope everyone else is having a good Monday morning! :goodvibes

My first day of Spring Break too! Oh my gosh. My kids fought all morning. I finally shoved them both in their rooms so I could take a shower at 11!

I really like the idea of year round schools:)

I haven't seen the movie or read the books. Do you need to read the books to fill in the gaps of the movie (like Harry Potter movies)?

I never read the Harry Potter books and I didn't miss a thing:thumbsup2 So, I'm guessin that if you don't read the Twighlight book, you won't miss a thing either:rotfl:

No, I grew up in the Mount Washington area of Los Angeles. Then after I got married we lived in Glendale for 4 years, and then Burbank for 7 years.

I lived in Glendale for a year. Nice little burb!

Capri - Breezy loves Tesla and has seen them twice I think. And how sweet your bro wants to take out out. My brother is a taker, never gives, only takes. I guess he's playing the 9 years younger-wifeless-childless-broke baby brother card as long as he can.:sad2: But he sure does rave over simple things like a home cooked meal.;)
Have a great time.

Capri, that's hilarious that your dh read all the books, but you haven't. I begged my dh to read the books after I did. I need to mention here that the Twilight series is the ONLY book series I have ever completed in my life. Sad, I know, but I'm really just not a reader.

Anyway, my dh, who IS a reader and mostly reads youth fantasy, read the first book, but couldn't get through New Moon. He summarized it like this. "Whaaaa, where did Edward gooooo! I miss Edward. Whhhaaaaa!! Will he ever come back? Why isn't he heeeeerrrrreeee??? Wait, what about Jacob? He's kind of sweet and funny, but What about Edddwaaaardddd?

He just couldn't take it and gave up. So I had to basically explain the rest of the series to him.

Anyway, good luck on Sassy's surgery. I know it's a tough thing, but you'll be glad you did it afterward.

Edward is nice one minute, then withdraw the next. I don't know. It's all good. You, Wendy, Debbie, and the rest of the female population can fight over Edward. :rotfl:
I've only got to share Jacob with Trudi. :rotfl2:

Oh I'm good at sharing ! I mean who wants to cuddle up to an ice cube. LOL As for the actor who plays Jacob, he is totally buff now. He has been working out for the next movie. If I knew how to add pictures here I would show you. Just google him.

Oh, can we?? :yay:

Have fun with your brother! And I hope things go ok for Sassy.

LOL Yes, the bickering can get really old after a while.

Can we bring some Carmen Electra's movies so we can practice. :rotfl2:
Hey, no cheating! You're going to show up at the class already a pro!

Yeah, no ice cubes for me. I want someone tall, dark, handsome and toasty!

Off to Google!! :moped:

I've seen one of her videos. It was a great workout. :thumbsup2 That was when they first came out though, now it's just depressing when I try. :rotfl2:

Wow, he has buffed up! One report says he's already gained 26 pounds of muscle and is still working on it. I wonder how. I hope he's not taking stuff he shouldn't to get buff so quickly.
Also when I was reading about him, it says he's only 17 years old!! I knew he was young, but not that young. Yikes. :scared1: :rotfl2:

Yes, 17. My friends tell me I'm going to jail for having thoughts about him. ha ha
