Dawn, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'll be praying for that family and especially the little ones.
Hi Everyone..
I hope all is well.
Our friend who we spoke of before the trip, has died and we are all so very sad.
She leaves behind 5 children, the youngest is 6.

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to chime in on the accommodations discussion. I say we try to coordinate staying in the same place or two places.
So, I think I'm leaning towards onsite option and HoJo option.

I have some hotel news!
Best Western can book up to March 1, 2010.
This is for Best Western Park Place Inn
The price is $606.05 with the AAA discount (this includes taxes & fees)
You get:
For a group of 5: $121.21 per person/ $24.24 per night
Group of 4: $151.51 per person/ $30.30 per night
and so on...
Cristabel!Some more hotel news!
Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites doesn't have the rates available for January yet but I was just testing around September because, wouldn't you say that September and January are about the same kind of "busy" level?
Well they have a family SUITE! that sleeps up to 8 comfortably for only $119/ per night but again, this is for late September trip. I will be looking out for next year's rates so we can get a more likely price.

I'll answer my own question.
I just looked up the Desert Inn's ad in the AAA book, and they have 2 options for the rooms up to 8 people. One has 2 full baths, and the other has 1 1/2 baths.
The one with 2 full baths would be the pick!!! No duh...........![]()
I wanted to let everyone know that I tried calling the Hojo today to follow up on the Ent rate issue from last weekend. After being on hold for about 5 minutes for in house reservations I was informed that Lorealle was not in, but that she can't do anything for us anyhow. We need to talk to Joanne, who is the front desk manager, and she is not in until 9:30 am tomorrow. So, I will try that tomorrow and let you know what I can accomplish!
I think this is probably a good idea. I don't like staying at new hotels, and no matter what, I am familiar with HoJo and over all, having stayed there several times, I can say I've had more good times then bad.I'm thinking maybe we have an onsite and and offsite option. Chances are decent that we'd get a good AP rate at PPH or DLH. And for the offsite option, I think HoJo's is the best value.
Oh no. I'm so sorry. Those poor children. Our friend who we spoke of before the trip, has died and we are all so very sad.

Since I won't be sharing with 5 people, that still seems high to me. But not too bad. I might consider it.I have some hotel news!

I was told my cc would be credited on Tuesday so that must be why, that's when Joanne is there.I wanted to let everyone know that I tried calling the Hojo today to follow up on the Ent rate issue from last weekend.
