My mom is looking for a gift to bring home for her golden retrievers. We haven't seen any dog toys or treats? Anyone know where we can find some? Dtd, CA, DL wherever?!

oh.... I want to know this too. I would love to bring my golden home a special gift :).

I've never found anything. I think Disney is missing a huge market- I could see tags, collars, treats, bowls etc.

The leather place in Fromtierland used to make dog collars, ask them if they still do.

beds, toys, leashes, clothes for those people who like to dress their pets.

Thats to bad that they dont have some of these things. Some people treat their pets as if they were their children. Think of how much money people spend daily on their kids. Then think of all the people that go that dont have kids, but may have pets at home that are their "babies". A lot of those people I bet would be willing to put down some money on that stuff. Disney could be making big bucks off this.

There used to be a cart in DTD that had things for pets. Not sure if it was Disney related- but worth checking!

The leather place in fronteirland does still make dog collars and they are awesome. I've purchased 2 recently. They will engrave the name and add a charm stud (the mickey head is cute). I've always felt they are missing a huge opportunity by not having pet merchandise. Myself and other crazy pet people like me will probably spend more on pet souvenirs than our own :D

We thought the very same thing while we were at the parks last month. Disney markets and sells just about everything under the sun and one would think that they would cater the all the dog and cat owners out there.

I have a friend who buys stuff for his chihuahua at build a bear in DTD , the bear ears fit the dog perfectly.

WoD used to have an area for dog ears, bowls, leashes, etc... But, I don't think it sold well. We did buy up a lot of the stuff.

Here is one of our dogs with the Mickey ears (we also have goofy ears.)

I think a long time ago, like maybe even 15 years they had a small pet section in that hallway area behind the photo supply, and it would get displaced by holiday items, like the annual requisite Hanukkah ornament. And then I think I remember seeing a few items in that small room off Disney Showcase many years ago. But I can see where pet items are the kind of thing where if you don't have a big display, they won't sell well, but once you start giving them floor space, the different items for cats and dogs and the different sizes you'd need would grow and start to take over.

But they do sell Disney items at Petsmart: http://www.petsmart.com/search/inde...ey&origkw=Disney&sr=1&f=PAD/psNotAvailInUS/No

We always get our dog a little stuffed character toy. She loves them! Lol This last time we bought her a vintage Minnie :-)

I've always wished there could be a pet supplies store in one of the parks. I'd personally call it "Pluto's Pet Shop." ;)

I would SO buy souvenirs for my pug, particularly a nice leather Disney collar.

Unfortunately, Disney has been going the way of selling the same merchandise in multiple locations, instead of having more unique stores.

You have described my family to a T. We would love to have a nice Disney pet store to spend money at. Disneyland is leaving a lot of money on the table.

Alas, you're correct. So disappointing, as DL used to be such a shopper's heaven.

Anyone else remember the golden days of the One of a Kind Shop in NOS? My mom could get lost in there for what felt like hours when I was a kid...
