My mom is looking for a gift to bring home for her golden retrievers. We haven't seen any dog toys or treats? Anyone know where we can find some? Dtd, CA, DL wherever?!
beds, toys, leashes, clothes for those people who like to dress their pets.
Thats to bad that they dont have some of these things. Some people treat their pets as if they were their children. Think of how much money people spend daily on their kids. Then think of all the people that go that dont have kids, but may have pets at home that are their "babies". A lot of those people I bet would be willing to put down some money on that stuff. Disney could be making big bucks off this.
The leather place in fronteirland does still make dog collars and they are awesome. I've purchased 2 recently. They will engrave the name and add a charm stud (the mickey head is cute). I've always felt they are missing a huge opportunity by not having pet merchandise. Myself and other crazy pet people like me will probably spend more on pet souvenirs than our own
We thought the very same thing while we were at the parks last month. Disney markets and sells just about everything under the sun and one would think that they would cater the all the dog and cat owners out there.
I think a long time ago, like maybe even 15 years they had a small pet section in that hallway area behind the photo supply, and it would get displaced by holiday items, like the annual requisite Hanukkah ornament. And then I think I remember seeing a few items in that small room off Disney Showcase many years ago. But I can see where pet items are the kind of thing where if you don't have a big display, they won't sell well, but once you start giving them floor space, the different items for cats and dogs and the different sizes you'd need would grow and start to take over.

You have described my family to a T. We would love to have a nice Disney pet store to spend money at. Disneyland is leaving a lot of money on the table.
