Gift Shop Question-Help!

Do the gift shops carry most of the same items? I have a DD8 who has her own money to spend. I always advise her "don't buy the first thing you see".

BUT, we are in Magic Kingdom our first 2 days....if she sees something she wants, but we don't go back to that certain park, will we be able to find it in another park? I don't want to make a last minute trip BACK to a park just to pick up a certain item I advised her to wait on!

I know DTD has most things, but we didn't plan on spending any time there, our time is all planned elsewhere.

We were there a month ago and for the most part I would say the gift shops all have the same things. However, we were in search of a Snow White plush doll and the DTD store said they did not have Snow White. At MK, we found a big plush Snow White doll that we had not seen at any of the other stores.

There is definitely some stuff that is park or even ride specific, that you should get at the time. You can pretty easily tell though, such as safari stuff at AK.

What we did was go to DTD first on the day we got there, scope out what they had and what interested us, then only bought unique stuff at the parks. We went back to DTD the last evening and did the bulk of our shopping.

More or less yes. There will be some differences. If there is something she really likes at a specific store write down which store it was in or keep it in the back of your head. When you get towards the end of the trip and she still really wants that item and you haven't found it anywhere else, you could then ask your resort to connect you to that store or give you the number and you could ask them to ship it home for you or if there's time send it to your resort. Chances are though you'll find it somewhere else.
