I'm doing the same thing- I think that everydaygold site just gives you the discount on the giftcards right away- you don't have to wait for a rebate.

I tried to go onto the everydaygold site but it requires a member number to get a username? Any ideas where to get one? I think this is a great idea btw! I buy tons of gift cards at the holidays!

I have also heard that if you buy the 2006 Entertainment book, they have an offer of discount gift cards. I don't really know the details other than you don't have to join a club like the others to buy them. I havent bought my copy yet to see what the offer is.

Before anyone jumps to sign up with everydayprivilegesgold, take a look at some consumer complaints that have been registered against their parent company, Trilegiant:

You may want to google their name for more consumer info. They don't sound very reputable.

I belong to a couple different programs (both are run by Dealpass). I am a member of At Home Rewards and Today's Escapes. There are many different types of memberships so you really have to read carefully.. These two offered a one month free membership then $10 a month after that. I decided to do both right now to see what different stores they offer. I just ordered $600 worth of gift cards on Monday and the total after I get credited back will be $480. The following website from Fat Wallets gives a lot of info on the different programs, their fees and how to join (some have links you can click on to join) This is how I got in. I was with Hotwire previously for a while but they changed to Passport of Fun and somehow cancelled my membership and couldn't re-instate it. You can only buy 4 of each gift card per month per retailer - maximum of 20 per year per retailer. This is another reason I am in two right now so I can get more Target Gift Cards (I use these alot) and one has Kohls that I like and the other has Gas Cards. So, not sure how long I will hold onto both of them but probably at least til I can stock up good. Any questions let me know and I will do my best to answer - although the following website gives a lot of good info (long though).
