Hello everyone, Would my granddaughter be able to link a gift card to her Magic Band? She would feel so big if she could pay for her souvenirs with her MB

Unfortunately, no. But you could just let her charge back to the room (with the illusion that she's paying for it) and then pay off the balance with her gift card.

Just a heads up that Disney will not allow charging to a child's MB until they are 10yo. I was quite okay with my daughter having charging privileges when she was 9 but when they tried to add it it wouldn't stick. We went a few months later shortly after she turned 10 and I was able to add it then.

She could pay with the gift card itself. Like she’s paying with her own “credit card”!

We always just used a physical gift card for kids to have souvineer money on.
