gift basket pics and description please

Disney Florist is currently the only local place able to do food items. Betsy and Peggy (www.memoriesbybetsy.com and www.peggyssweetsandmore.com) are both home based businesses and don't meet the criteria to be able to sell food. Now if they had a store front then they could. It's all about the food storage and what nots associated with food stuffs.

Thanks. Peggy just emailed me back and told me that as well :) She also clarified that she charges 25.00 per basket, so it would cost me 125.00 just in fees alone...not including merchandise :(

Oh well, back to the drawing board LOL Anywhere that sells Goofy Candy Company stuff and will ship it to me to make their own baskets?

Betsy charges $28 for the first and $8 each additional. Here are the ones she just made for my kids:

Great baskets...working on 2 baskets for October..DS2 and DD12...here are the contents:
DS- mickey ears, name badge, pressed penny book, autograph/photo book, 3 disney racer cars, goofy bus, goofy plush, monorail, coloring book, crayons, donald duckie
DD- name badge, Disney cutie plush, pressed penny book, lanyard, universal holder, 4 pin starter pack (cuties), mickey ears w/ name, refillable MUG, mickey purse/bag

These are just Welcome baskets I am doing from memoriesbybetsy.com

I've ordered three gift baskets for DH, DS and DD from Memories by Betsy (www.memoriesbybetsy.com) for our August trip. She couldn't be nicer and really helps in suggesting items for you after you tell her about their interests. I love that you can control the prices since she charges a flat fee of $28 for the first fit basket and $8 for each additional gift basket. This includes shopping, creating the gift basket and delivery to your resort the morning that you arrive. The rest of the cost is simply the cost of the merchandise. You pay what she pays!! I didn't want to spend too much money (just wanted a simple welcome basket) but it sure was tempting to keep adding more. I really appreciated Betsy's suggestions for keeping the price down with certain items.

I am doing this as a surprise for all three and I can't tell you how difficult it has been not telling them :scared: . That's probably why I've posted it numerous times in these forums since it gives me outlet till our trip (why won't time go by faster?).

Anyway, below is the picture that Betsy sent me with the completed baskets for DS and DD. I just told her some things about my kids (DS Pirate and DD Princess, go figure) and she came up with a bunch of suggestions and all I had to do was pick and choose. I also came up with some ideas myself and she went out of her way to find them. She's AWESOME!! Of course, if I lived 5 minutes from Disney and my job was to go shopping in WDW I sure wouldn't complain (jealous) :rotfl2: .

I'm still waiting for a picture of the gift basket for DH since it took me forever to come up with a 'perfect basket'. I'm sure getting my money's worth out of Betsy since I keep changing my order:lmao: . She is so sweet and genuinely seems to want my basket to be perfect too!! I'll post it after I receive the picture which should be this week.

Does anyone know if this includes beverages as well or just actual food? I was planning on making a basket with the mickey head wine glasses and some sparkling cider and without the cider, I might need to re-evaluate things! lol Thanks!

Technically, the law does prohibit beverages as well. It could possibly be added at the last minute at the resort just prior to delivery. It could not be added at the home where the gift baskets are assembled.

I found a picture of a tote bag on Sarah's site (before she turned it over to Betsy). She was nice enough to find one for me and ship it to my house (we had already come home from our trip). That was so wonderful of her.

Thanks Peggy! I have your site bookmarked and I keep making up basket themes for my DH in my head! lol. Our trip isn't until December though, so I guess I still have time to decide! :)

I love the Cinderella tote bag!!! If you don't mind me asking, how big is it and do you know how much it was by any chance? Thanks! :)
