I am thinking that Close Encounters of the Fourth kind looks kind of creepy but it is supposed to be based on true stories...

What do you all think is scarier...aliens or ghosts? I am thinking aliens because i think I can theoretically protect myself from ghosts somehow but aliens... I don't know.

Anyone watching GA live right now on Travel?? Is it just me, or is this whole show somewhat comical.. LOL I just have a hard time taking these guys seriously...

I'm so confused!

A couple of weeks ago, I read that Jason and Grant said there would NOT be a H'ween episode this year because they were hurt by the controversy last year.

THEN, I read that they are having a marathon of shows that fans voted for, hosted by TAPS.

THEN, I see on TV that there is a marathon at a haunted place with Josh Gates, but NO investigation.

NOW, that link above says there IS some sort of investigation?

Can someone clear this up for me, I am soooooo confused!

There is an investigation at 6pm, that is what I heard.

Im watching but i don't see anything that they are talking about right now. We watched last night and it was pretty good. Its funny, DH is in the basement watching, DSD is upstairs watching and I'm in the kitchen watching and they are both calling to me asking if I see or hear anything! This is GREAT! Just cause it is!

I have seen stuff on the place that they are showing now@ Looks like a mental hospital in NY. Can't remember the name.

PS by the way one of my guilty pleasures is going to be sitting down for an hour tomorrow watching some good horror flick, reading this thread, having a beer while snuggled up in my blankie! Can't wait!

I did check out some of GA last night and what the heck was up with the guy and the big machine thingie that was one of the goofiest things ever, and clearly (IMO) he threw whatever that was he was holding, that guy was a nut!

I thought he threw it too. He was very weird....oh yeah, an entity is going to materialize in there...I kept waiting for Stitch to show up in there.

I have GH on, its a different take on the "Halloween Show" than we are use to, but I am enjoying it! and Josh of course is as charming as ever..

I watched some of the GA repeat and did anyone see Zac question the guy with the wacky machine? He said that there was some doubt about the flying meter.

I was surprised to see Jeff Belanger there. He's written quite a few books about ghosts and always seemed trustworthy to me. Maybe the GA guys are just annoying but at least somewhat trustworthy.

As for GH, that seemed to just be a repeat of shows with a few shots of an investigation being done by Steve and Tango thrown in. I do believe that Jason and Grant's part was pre-recorded. I was excited to see the last episode though since we visited Eastern State Penitentiary just a few days ago. It's a great place!
