I'm liking GHA my son and I were talking tonight about Steve and his more "harsher side" we kinda like it!
To me its like Jay & Grant...Steve has the Jay role while Tango is like Grant!

Thanks for the new stories, can never have to many of those!

I'm with you guys on Ghost Lab...and is it me or does it seem like that one guy is shouting at the camera when he's talking that show is not my fave I keep hoping it gets better, so far...um no

I've been meaning to come on here and comment on an episode of Paranormal State that I saw two weeks ago. It was the hour long one where Ryan wanted his fellow PS team members to go to West Virginia State Penitentiary. He acted like such a big jerk!

I've been watching The Haunted on Animal Planet and I recorded Paranormal Cops but haven't watched it yet.

So what have all of you been watching?

Yep I seen that episode of Paranormal State and thought the same thing, I would have been really ticked if I was on his team! He was a major jerk~

I also have watched the Haunted on Animal Planet, it was alright, seen part of the Paranormal Cop show so not sure about that one yet

Glad to see that GH will be back on soon, still my favorite!

I was going to come and comment on the same thing (but I kept forgetting!!). Ryan is normally my favorite "ghost hunter" - he may be a bit over-the-top, but he seems to be otherwise level-headed and considerate. He really acted like a jerk (absolute correct terminology!) on that episode. I know he was trying to take the whole situation seriously and obviously had some personal experience he was trying to communicate the seriousness of (but it would have just been easier to tell his own team the details of what happened), but wow!

I watched an episode of Paranormal Cops and found it interesting. Cool take - a cops perspective, treating every "haunted" place as a crime scene.

I saw that Paranormal Cops had its series finale a week or so ago. Sad to see it go. I was really interested in seeing more Chicago locations being investigated but it did seem like after the first episode the whole investigation was based on Moira the Medium. And while she seemed pretty legitimate, that wasn't really what I was watching for.

Saw the prison Paranormal State. Totally agree. It made me think that Ryan has been on some sort of ego trip for awhile and this is simply the first time the viewers are seeing it. Like he hid it well and was edited kindly. Now I can't watch the show without wondering what he is really thinking. Perhaps when I thought before he looked interested and unbiased he was just thinking about how good he looked from that angle? Maybe?

They finally started showing those Celebrity Ghost Stories on the channels I get and DH and I found them really interesting. Granted, most of the folks were actors so could have been totally making it up, but the experiences were so odd and atypical. Really liked them. Hope there will be new ones sometime.

When I was younger, in my teens, my cousin and I were messing around with an ouji board. Being stupid and curious, she had a book with spells and we lit candles trying to contact her dead grandmother on a different side of the family. She had a toy stuffed heart that played music that was a gift from that grandmother, that we placed in center of candles. She starts using the board and then we held hands and she said some voo doo crap and all of a sudden the candles went out. The heart started playing music and a box fan came on by itself, unplugged. I ran as fast as i could to the bedroom door but it wouldn't open. It was locked. So I ran to a window and jumped. I NEVER stayed the night with her again and my dad was soooo TICKED off that we were messing with something so evil. LESSON LEARNED and NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!

I myself am getting pretty sick of Paranormal State. How come a lot of the issues come from demons? I thought that was pretty rare when dealing with the paranormal. However, I love Chip Coffey! I love psychic kids.
Anyone ever listen to the darkness radio podcast?

I've watched The Haunted on Animal Planet and thought it was OK. It's something to watch.

I've watched all the Paranormal Cops episodes and they weren't too bad.

They finally started showing those Celebrity Ghost Stories on the channels I get and DH and I found them really interesting. Granted, most of the folks were actors so could have been totally making it up, but the experiences were so odd and atypical. Really liked them. Hope there will be new ones sometime.

About the only thing I didn't like about Celebrity Ghost Stories (it's the same thing I hate about alot of these shows) is that they repeat what we saw before the commercial break after the commercial break and take time away from the show. I agree with you about the demon stuff.

I also agree with you about Chip Coffey! I always have my fingers crossed that it's him when they say that they are bringing in a psychic on PS. I love Psychic Kids too!

I like Chip Coffey too. Psychic Kids is good but it's basically the same episode each time with different kids.

I agree about the Celebrity Ghost Stories show I hate when they repeat the story when they come back from commercial. Pretty much means they don't have enough material for a full show. Thank goodness for DVR - I just fastforward through those parts.

The Haunted isn't too bad. It's more of a story type show than research though.

I enjoyed the two hour Ghosthunters special tonight. They are all so likable and I'm so excited that Josh is back in a few weeks. Fun stuff.

I really like Ghosothunters. Not too excited about Ghost Hunters Academy. Seems like they are just trying too hard to use the popularity of Ghost Hunters for whatever. I didn't like it at all.

I've been really bad about not watching the series this past season, but I love them. I love them b/c they are LEGIT. (As in they were around long before their show, and never accepted a dime from their clients. Scammers, they are not).

I liked Psychic Kids, too.

I had a friend send me an email yesterday with a link to an interesting news story. A Paranormal Museum has opened in Gettysburg, PA.

I bumped it exactly because I had seen your link in the haunted house thread...thought bringing back the actual thread to Page One would give these stories some new readers.

And like I said.... do not read either of the two threads late at night ...unless you really *want* to stay up for a long while or you really want to have some bad dreams.

My uncle passed away a few months ago and my aunt is selling the house. She began having experiences with her dog barking and growling at apparently nothing.

She has since moved out of the house and some strange things have been happening. The house is empty and I go over to check on it for her and have found an object that I had removed from one area of the basement, back in the same spot (twice). I went over just the other day to do my usual walk through and found a ball sitting in the middle of the living room. Don't know where it came from and no one has been in the house. Freaked me out!!

We think its him and he's still there!!

Use some baby powder to see if anyone has been in the house. Sprinkle it on the floor lightly. Also, do things like put tape on the door just to see if somone is fooling with you. If not....well you might just be right.
