Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

I watch Paranormal State too. I've found it to be verrry boring lately. Quite a few of the episodes they don't even do 2 dead times. I really don't like any other psychic other then Chip either.

I still watch and like GH

yes the live show made me go hmmmmm but I did get past it, I have had things happen that "I" couldnt explain but i'm sure others would be able to somehow, so I take it like that~

GHI grew on me a little more this past season, and I think it was because the lead guy Rob, wasnt as annoying as in the past, not sure why, but he use to get on my nerves but this last time, not so much! :confused3 well and the fact the Andy and Brian were both gone also helped alot~

Paranormal State, I watch it mostly on re-runs, I dont know something about it, dosent make me want to tune in all the time, its kinda like "an ok" show to me. :confused3

Most Haunted, well I watch for a laugh! I will say I like the locations, much like the ones on GHI i find them interesting~

Ghost Adventures, well dude I've tried dude to watch it dude many times dude and ya know dude I just cant do it dude, really dude i cant~ :sad2:

so there ya go my "ghost show soapbox" for what all that was worth :lmao: I chalk it up to Sunday and being a little bored!

I still love Ghosthunters and watch it the same as I always have. I still think they are the real deal, but fall under the PTB spell one in awhile.

This season has been a little let down because they are going to awesome locations and not finding all that much. Or at least I don't think it is all that much.

I've gotten over the Halloween episode and moved on.

I watch Ghost Adventurers for the comedic value. I can't take them serious at all..and Paranormal state has become a huge "yawn" for me (but I'll still watch it once in awhile)

I do not know who popped up this thread but I am glad they did since I cannot seem to find the search box(anyone know where it is?). In a way I am glad that GH does not find a lot of haunted places this season. I really had a hard time getting over the coat thing. This week was a yawn. While the hand print on the door looked impressive I still have to question who put it there. Have any of you seen Dead Famous. It is on You Tube and while it is kind of hoaky there were a couple of evps that sent chills down my spine. There is also a series Interview with a Serial Killer where they try to contact dead serial killers. It is bizarre but it is like a train wreck I cannot look away, especially since when I was on bed rest when I tore the colateral ligament in my leg. I watched ANYTHING.

I still watch too simply because I enjoy it. I've decided just to go with the flow on GH.

As for a wrestler being there for the live show, that is by SciFi's request. The first guy, CM Punk, did a good job IMO but the others have been let downs. I kind of like the idea of taking someone out of their normal element and seeing how they react to this subject but ONLY if they show interest and a willingness to participate and learn.

Speaking of the live show, where oh where is Josh? I was so hoping that Destination Truth would be back.

We are still watching GH too. I chose not to follow the controversy around the Halloween episode. I am not sure I trusted the explanations given by Jay and Grant, but that isn't stopping my watching it, at least right now.

I think the shows have been duller. Maybe because there is no crew drama with Brian gone?

GHI was better without Andy. He reallly bugged me. And I agree Rob is much less annoying. He overused his eyebrows before and that has quit. And they aren't hopping around declaring haunted with one EVP and an undocumented personal experience anymore!

I laugh and laugh at Ghost Adventures, though I have been catching up on it. We watched the Sloss Furnace in Birmingham, AL last night and I thought the part where Zak was walking around like he had a load in his pants on the top of the "very dangerous" catwalk was hilarious!

I was just thinking, after watching GA last night, how much I missed this thread! So glad it is back!

We've started watching Ghost Adventurers. It's not really scary but dude, it's funny! That guy Aaron is such a chicken, :rotfl:.

I still like Paranormal State the best.

Check out You Tube there are tons and tons of paranormal shows from various places around the world(they are all in English not dubed). There are a couple of guys on there who up load new videos every other day. LIving With the Dead, Northern Ireland Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted(yuck) and as well as the usual Ghi Gh Ps , A Haunting and tons more. They are very interesting there are over 500 shows ...it certainly opened my eyes I thought PS, and GH had cornered the market but now I find out that they were lately rans.

Anyone watch Ghosthunters last night? In the episode GHI investigated the "haunted" inn (Spaulding INN) in NH which was purchased by Jay and Grant. I don't know it really made feel kind of like they were doing it to promote their inn just in time for summer. Supposedly the inn is haunted but honestly the evidence that the team got was pretty thin IMHO. Anyone else have any feelings about this episode?

What bothers me about Paranormal State: If the lead investigator is being followed by a demon (or demons), if he were professional he would never allude to a name or show it written down, etc. There are enough stupid people out there who would investigate and welcome this entity into their lives, etc. If he's serious, he wouldn't be doing this.

Ok, so I had no idea that there was a GH thread on here :scared1:
I read the first page and have to disagree with one of the first posters who said that Jason and Grant have ego problems.
I was very fortunate to go on the Eastern State retreat in Philladelphia with my aunt last May. It was so awesome. We met Jason and Grant and got to ghost hunt with them (along with a large group) and I must say that they are great guys. So down to earth you feel like you've known them forever, especially Grant. They had an auction at the hotel we all stayed at and raised a ton of money for ESP and told some hilarious stories about some of thier past experiences.
My aunt is an investigator here in TN with Clarksville Ghost Hunters and is going to Waverly Hills this weekend :thumbsup2

Haven't gotten the chance to watch last nights episode but I will soon. Finally caught up from the last 3 weeks and I thought the flour on the floor with the foot print in it was a little creepy. I had my DS11 creeped out when I had him watch the episode from 2 weeks ago that had the ghost boy turning the flashlight on and off.

My DH asked me if all they do are museums and business now and not homes.

I live in Hendersonville, TN!!!!

I tuned in the other the other night~ I liked it wasnt awesome or anything but it was alright. The Inn is amazing!!:thumbsup2
I didnt mind that they had the GHI team investigate there new Inn, I mean hey if I had a show and bought something in the same field and could "advertise" it on national TV then you better believe i would! ;)

I was actually pleased to see the GHI guys. I've always like Dustin and I guess that the others have grown on me.

Next week's episode looks amazing! That creepy place is notorious!!!

I never got the impression that Jason and Grant had big egos. I think sometimes that this impression might come from their insistence on things being done a certain way. I suspect that most paranormal investigators are like that though.

Waverly Hills!!! I'm jealous.

lttmc3 ~ Hello neighbor :flower3:

Yeah, I'm sure she'll have a great time at Waverly Hills. I told her I expect a full report!

Here's a link to the thread I posted my ESP photos to last year if anyone is interested. The only one my aunt and I really didn't like was Chris Fleming, he was very arrogant. Everyone else was great.

Your pics are great. I particularly like the one of you and Grant. :thumbsup2

I would love to do something like this. I'm waiting for TAPS to finally make it down to Texas. Lots of hot spots in this state!

Did anyone mention what if any plans there are for Eastern State?

Another thing, you mention Steve not being there so I assume that Tango was. What was he like?

I've been to Waverly Hills. It's here in my town. It was several years ago, about 5:30 a.m. on Halloween morning. The building was very, very eerie. We didn't experience anyting per se, but the investigator with our local GH group recounted several stories. The building is very large and just feels ... sad. The Body Chute was completely dark.

Since then, the owners have improved the property to some extent. A year or so ago we read in the paper that they were turing it into a hotel, but I think they were having some contracting issues or something along those lines.

Neither Steve nor Tango was there, only Jason and Grant from the GH show.
Patrick Burns and Chip Coffey and one more guy, an older man, whose name escapes me right now but he was on some of the earlier episodes of GH and delt with the "demons". Although I can't remember his name I do know he was really nice. If you ever get the opportunity to go to one, do it, it was alot of fun and it only cost around $250pp for the room and all I think.

They are in the process of refurbishing Eastern State and the proceeds of the auction was going toward that effort, it is really run down but I think that it most certainly adds to the creepiness of the place.

I had a couple of funny things happen though. Grant kind of jumped out at us as we were coming around a corner and went "BOO" :scared1:, it was funny though because we were kind of on edge. He did lots of things like that to kind of lighten the mood. They are such cut ups. And I was wearing this athletic type jacket during the ghost hunt that had a reflective strip on the back and Jay was taking pictures with his digital camera. He called me over and was like "what's that"?? it was just the reflective strip on the back of my jacket but the photo was (unintentionally) zoomed in on my big butt and I was kind of mortified :o :rotfl::rotfl:

Jay's wife was at the auction and the lectures, she's so sweet and such a riot!!
