I don't think they will confess to it being a fake, but they might try to convince people that it was not a fake. Right now I am leaning towards being suspictious..we'll see what happens.

No surprise. Tried to do an explanation of a wire by talking about an earpiece.

A bit disappointed but I'll still watch the show. Too many other good ones in the past. It does color ones opinion though. Lots of folks on other boards have accused them of being sell outs to Sci-Fi. Oh well.

I love this show. Very recently started watching it and now i'm hooked. I wish they would be on more often, even if a couple were re runs...that seems like all tv is now anyways.

As for experiences, none in my home, but i went to San Francisco recently with my friends and we stayed at the Queen Anne hotel (a hotel that is said to be haunted) We got a suite, and when we first got to the room as soon as i took the key card out of the door and turned the handle, the tv turned on and it was on cartoons. That same night (we had left the windows open cause it was too hot and no AC) my friend went to go close the window and all of the sudden she starts yelling and running back to the room. Scared me and when I asked her what happened she said that she closed the window and as she turned around to walk away, the window started opening back up really slowly as if someone was opening it back up. The rest of the 3 days that we were there nothing really happened other than whenever we left the tv turned onto cartoons it would turn on when we would leave the room and come back, and when we didn't have it on cartoons it wouldn't turn on. We did a ghost hunt that starts at that hotel on saturday night and he said that when he used to show that room the tv would turn on too to none other than cartoons! lol It was great

well I would say they 1/2 explained things....sorta kinda.....lol

they did the show like any other, showed what happen, went over the evidence, told the owner......they pointed out the "coat pull" and explained that it could'nt be a wire as it was(an ear piece wire) down Grants sweater not his coat.
The voice, well I think if it were else where and in another invesgation they would have been peeing there pants with excitment....last night not so much.....

Now on the flip side if you didnt see the live show and the events around the happenings, I believe you would have seen nothing wrong with those evidence piece's that they showed...kwim??
Like my hubby didnt see the live show, and he said "ohh that looked good hun, what were you yacking about" his excat words!!!

Soooooooooo, I will leave it at that for now, next weeks show is the round table type of disscussion about the live show......so I will tune in and see whats said on there

I caught the tail end of a show last night with 2 people getting really excited about an EVP with "Look up. I'll kill you" What was that??

ETA that it was on the Travel Channel. I had initially thought the TV was on Sci Fi (i just turned it on and it was on whatever I had on the night before. When it was ghost stuff I left it!)

I'm a little disappointed about the reveal show. I just don't believe them on this episode. Oh well. Maybe they will earn back my trust (not that they care).

the voice thing I completely don't believe, but I'm undecided on the hood things. As someone else pointed out, his hand wasn't in the jacket pocket all 3 times, his thumb was hooked in his pants pocket at least 1 of the times. However I don't see te temp change as "eveidence" becauce the inside of theod would be warmer than the outside from his body heat.

As for the coat pull, I can't quite see how a wire inside the coat would have pulled it down in the manner it did. It appeared to pull out but wouldn't an inside wire make it pull down and in?

I will say that I have never trusted SciFi. I wouldn't put it past them to stage things. I find it hard to believe that the TAPS guys would do so though considering how long they've been doing this. I don't know though - I suppose that money could talk. I wonder how their ratings have been lately?

ITA... The pull didn't seem to come from inside the jacket. It look more like if someone had their hand between the jacket and the hood and was pulling down.

As for the Wrestler and other guest, yep just plugs for their shows. I hate they didn't show more of Amanda Tapping, but I did like what she said to Steve and who ever that was when they were trying to find out what was flying/moving around.

Yes, the guests just plug their shows. That one wrestler two years ago, CM Punk, seemed to really get into it and worked hard to help out and I like to see that from any guest. It makes it more interesting to see a layman learn and maybe experience something.

We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully, Grant and Jason will address this next week. It's not the first time that they've had to deal with controversy!

I have a coupe of experiences to tell you. Two are personal and a couple are from family members after my uncle passed away.

My two experiences are: about 2 months ago my dh was out of town so I was alone with the kids. We have dogs so we keep a baby gate in front of my dd bedroom so they can't go on the carpet in the room(it is the only room with carpet upstairs) anywho, in the night I woke up to the sound of the baby gate opening and closing on the wood floor. I waited to see which of my dds was getting up, at that point I noticed it was a taller figure like a man that had walked from their bedroom entryway. I could see it clearly because we keep the stove light on for the kids and it illiminates the hallway I yelled OMG! I thought a man had broken into our home. I ran into the hallway to check on the kids. They were sound asleep and no one was in the house. Everyone was sound asleep even my three dogs who bark at everthing. Very freaky.

The second thing that happened was that I was taking a nap and when I woke up I felt like someone had their arms around me in bed, (like cuddling) and I couldn't move at all. I was so scared that I could hardly make a sound but I did finally yell NO. and I could feel something like a hand move down my body. I am so freaked out expecially since this happened about 2 hours ago. At first I thought maybe my dh had come home early from work and had laid down with me. No one was there. I am so freaked especially since I couldn't move my arms. I always thought the man i saw in the hallway was my grandpa since he passed away in this house (we bought my grams house) but I don't think he would lay like that with me in bed and move his hand down my body.

My mom had a small experience after my uncle died (her brother). She has three pictures (not in frames) leaned up on her mirror. A couple of days after he passed away she was in her room and she saw the two pictures move up the mirror and flip down ward. Like someone had taken there fingers and held them up the mirror and moved them up. Guess who was in the two pictures that moved up the mirror. Yep my uncle with my mom in one and the other with his wife. The third pic that did not move didn't have him in it at all.

My aunt had alot of experiences but I will tell you the one that freaked me out the most. She was laying down in bed right after my uncle passed away and she felt the bed move like someone sat down on it and she felt someone putting their hand through her hair. I guess my uncle used to do that alot when she was going to sleep. She also has said that his dog used to look up into a corner of the bedroom and wag her tail at nothing.
I don't think she has had anymore experiences in awhile though.
