I love the show, but seriously, could this be any more scripted (said in my best Chandler from Friends imitation).

I told you I was in a funky mood and I'm still in one today too.

It does seem very scripted. (Totally got the Chandler thing too, in fact DH tells me all the time he married Female Chandler. )



I was really annoyed during the episode when they told Kris she is an official member now. They also said they've known her for 8 years? For some reason, I'm just not buying that story.

Chris never finds anything or has anything happen to her - I'm becoming more convinced that they just put her in the show to look pretty.

That's too funny about the female Chandler thing - DH tells me I'm Monica, a neurotic, competetive control freak who loves to cook . I almost got booted from a baby shower because I was so competetive during the games part. LOL

Can someone explain to me how Steve was ever a cop? He's afraid of everything. How could he possibly be expected to chase suspects, being afraid of spiders, heights, etc.? Is it just me, or are his phobias getting to be a little annoying? I love Steve but can do without his phobias. BTW, I loved the writing he saw about Tango's mom! I'd like to see more of their personalities coming through. I think that's why I always liked Brian and still miss him. He was such a nut job that he was somehow endearing. Now Andy, he just grated on my nerves.

Every week when they give us the Definition, DH and I look at each other and laugh.

I keep trying to tell myself that maybe someone is watching for the first time and they have no clue what it means..but it doesn't help.

Last night when I saw that big old orange cord wheel thingie, I thought, yeah, yeah run the cord, tape down the cords, adjust the cameras, we get it, we get it!
If you find a comment place let us know, I mean I know its alot of work setting that up, but every week we see it, run the cords, tape down the cords, adjust the cameras ect ect ect ect ect ect

It is a lot of work to set up for ANY show. I mean what if everytime we saw a show like oh I don't know CSI they showed us all the set up and less show we would go crazy.

I have read on my different posts on a vareity of boards people's displeasure with the loud background music on Ghost Hunters. I do not get it. Why would you obliterate anything we might be able to hear with loud music. I am sure your aim as producers of the show is to insure a steadily growing fan base and thus, the popularity of the show. So let me put it as bluntly as I can, the fans HATE the music. When enough people speak you really should listen.

Also, can we please get rid of the scenes of set up and knock down when the team visits a site. I would much prefer more background on the site if you are unable to fill the time with just plain old ghost hunting. I too have used cameras and extension cords so I know how to put them back in a box or roll them up! BORING! I am willign let the requisite sound bites defining EVP etc go because someone might be tuning in for the first time

I figure that if you got rid of set up, knock down and replay of the scene right before you go to the commercial you end up with MAYBE 10 min of actual ghost hunting.

Andy, wow thats like nails on a chalk board!! words cant even describe how he grates on my nerves! Its funny some episodes I think I just go with the flow and miss all the "evp stands for this, The talk with Jay & Grant" and other times it drives me nuts, must be a mood thing!

As for GHI i will tune in no doubt but between Andy,Brian, the REALLY annoying lead guy and that one girl (not Donna) it makes it a tough thing to set and take part in, but I love the concept, crazy I know! But really that lead guy(whose name escapes me right now) wow is he condesending and kinda nasty or is it just me? He just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

Steve I like, but please, I am so tired hearing him tlak about his phobias. I had no idea he was a cop. I don't know how he passed the evaluation.
I was so glad to see the comercial for GHI this AM. I miss Brian and Donna.

I don't think I could work with/for Grant. He is so critical.

It's not just you. DH and I watched GHI once, we haven't watched it again BECAUSE OF that lead guy. He is extremely condesending. I do like the places they visit in other countries, I just with (for the exception of Donna) that they had a different cast of people.

Nahh they did not boot him. I listend to the radio show and he will be back but they allueded to some others getting the boot. Andy does not bother me at all infact I like him. Donna, and the one with the weird outfits and matching hats....they bother me.

The lead guy I think his name was Rob, didn't annoy me as much as he is really boring to watch. He showed no emotion. I really like Barry though.

Hey!

We lost our internet connection yesterday and were out of town for 2 days before so I just caught up. But I too would give GH a 7. I thought as the episode ended, "Wow! That is a 7!" but now for the life of me can't remember what I thought was so great!

Andy! Man that guy bugs me!!! I find him to be extremely condescending. And Rob needs to give his eyebrows a break! I do think someone must have talked to him about it, because it was better at the end of the last season than at the beginning.

And the other chick-not Donna-ticked me off when she started making Donna cranky! Don't mess with the Donna!

I am looking forward to the new season of Paranormal State as well. DH and I love it when Chip is on the show. He is so funny! We aren't really into psychics usually, but if he really doesn't know anything about those places in advance, then he is pretty amazing! You can tell that the leader-Ryan I think-is even impressed with him at times!

Lovin the stories! The 'sleep paralysis' stories are the ones that got me! Good thing it is still daylight.

NO, Rob was hosting the radio show with someone else and Jason called for a few minutes and they discussed all the critcism of the show. They claimed that there would be improvments.
