Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

I have never gone ghost hunting like many of us on this thread they have found us!LOL! ONe thing I would be very careful of is that you learn a protective prayer before you attempt this. Get a book or research it on the internet. I know it looks like it could be fun but you could be dealing with God knows what (literally). I heard Grant speak once in an interview and they asked about negative energy (I will not write the common word) and he said that they knew when he was coming and things would happen at his home to let him know that they knew. Now if you belive this you will understand why I say this. If it were me I would also get a st. Michael medal and have it blessed before I went after any of this stuff. Sha-lyn might have some other suggestions.

Thanks for your reply, I will be sure to do a protective & cleansing ritual before and after "the hunt".:thumbsup2

A page back someone asked if GH has ever been to Myrtles. They have. They caught a pretty cool video of a lamp or maybe candlestick slowly sliding forward about 4-6 inches on a table over the course of a couple of hours. People were walking in and out of the room and sitting on chairs or a bed next to it as it happened and no one noticed at the time. I think Tango made the catch. It was so subtle but still definitely there! The rest of the episode is pretty minor, but the end when they catch that it is so weird that they really didn't have much happen while they were doing the investigation.

I finally gpt caught up on the newest posts! There are some great stories!!!

Shadow people intrigue me. Now if I saw one I would probably crap my pants. :lmao: But I would still love to see one and try to get it on film.

Does anyone know is PS has their episodes online? Since I have to get up early on Tuesdays I cannot stay up late to watch it.

Just bringing this back to page 1 before the show starts tonight. I'm watching the rerun show and it is one I haven't seen before (Frankenstein castle)

Sorry if I'm being petty, but I had to post. I thought Andy was the most annoying person on GHI, but I CANNOT take this new girl, Brady's voice. OMG like scratching nails on a chalkboard -- and now they're investigating together. I might just have to shoot myself. :headache:

Oh yeah, her voice is annoying! I want Donna back. (I'd even take Kris over Brandy or Brady, whatever her name is)

I do like the fact that they are only doing one investigation per show this week, it was much better and not as rushed.

I haven't seen GHI yet tonight, but watched Paranormal State last night and really enjoyed it! I thought the leader was much tougher and less touchy feely than last season. And the second episode where the son was all creeped out by the upstairs bathroom and had seen a figure in the door and the psychic actually told the family what had happened there in the past, when the family had not revealed their past--whoa! The father was clearly upset by the revelation that he had been avoiding!

Not GH, but close enough until Jay and Grant return!

Just read my friends blog and wanted to update on her DD's condition.

She is off the paralytics and sedatives completely.
Her ventelator is set on 8 for volume only (not for certain what all that means but I know she start on 20, with full pressure and full volume)
She is opening her eyes, smiling, crying, moving her arms around, nodding and shaking her head for yes/no etc. Its going to be a long recovery but it is finally clear that her brain injury isn't too bad.

That's good news! :thumbsup2

The last episode wasn't too bad. The castle was gorgeous and I do like a few of the team members. It's weird that they're not getting more though.

I didn't even notice the new girl's voice. Weird. I'll have to pay attention during the next show. I hope that Donna is feeling better nowadays.

Thanks...I had tears running down my face as I read the blog. They have been so burned out that they started limiting visitors, so i haven't seen my friend or her DD since the 14th. I did see her husband and DS the the following sat. They are accepting visitors again, so I will try to go down the first part of the week and I need to sign up to cook them a dinner (another friend is organizing meals for them).

Let us know how she progresses. I can't imagine what a relief this is. :)

I forgot that was a good one. I would have rated it like 9 ghosts due to the moving candle holder.

I am going on a Williamsburg Ghost tour tonight...i really do not expect much but it will be hosted by people who work in Williamsburg and have had experiences. I was in the Govenor's Palace yesterday and the basement is origianl. I was taking photos and it was weird b/c they had used it for a hospital at one time. I was using the camera and when Itook photos looking into two of the storage areas they came back like white mist. I took a few of them some came back that way and some did not. My son also had a camera and had the same thing happen once or twice. Two different cameras. Who knows?

We watched GHI last night from this week. I must say the entertainment value went up, but maybe not the way they intended! We were rolling around laughing at Andy's strap-on flashlight! That was sooooo funny!

Then they were all snappin' to it when Rob wanted the team below him in the sculpture hall with that quick music playing! Kind of a 'get in there right now moment' that we thought was a little over the top.

Then Andy brings out the ladder to check out the long man! I think that was pretty staged.

I understood what folks were saying about the gal's voice, but I didn't find it particularly annoying.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Of course we will want details as soon as possible. Kinda weird about the pictures.

Yeah, that music was a bit over the top. But overall I liked the episode. Brian didn't see things that weren't there, there was some weird things going on and Rob didn't annoy me as much as he usually does.

So what happened to Brian? I didn't even see his picture in the intro. What can I say about the last episode.....it was interesting, I guess. Why were the EVPs so statickey (is that a word? )? Usually if I can't make out the spooky voice response I can atleast hear the question that was asked by the investigator. All I could hear was mumbling.

I give the episode 5 ghosts.

sha_lyn: That's great news!

more good news. They expect to take her off the vent Mon and maybe move her to rehab by Fri. Her parents are going Monday to look at 2 rehab centers.
