GF Cafe ressie and Wishes

What time would be better for a reservation at GF Cafe is you want to watch Wishes (at 9pm) from the beach? Would you choose 6:20 or 7:20?

We have never dined there so I have no idea how long dinner takes. Thanks.

Assuming you are seated on time, I think the 7:20 would be ok. You could always take the earlier one if you want to explore the GF a little bit, though.

I'm not sure the beach will give you the best view of the fireworks. You should check out the patio at Gasparilla or the boat dock. Both are directly across from the castle and the view is amazing. We watched Hallowishes from Gasparilla last Friday!

I would think 7:20 would do. We just returned and GF Cafe was our last dinner in WDW, it was great and it's a must do for us now.

We have a 7:10 ADR there in December and I hadn't even thought about possible seeing fireworks. I was a little nervous about this ADR as there doesn't seem to be a lot of talk on here about it. The night we will be going is a MVMCP night, but I am assuming we would still be able to see the fireworks. This will be on our arrival night and we are staying at POP. I was planning on taking a cab to GF for our ADR, but on the return I was thinkin of taking the boat to MK to pick up the bus back to POP. Can you see the fireworks the entire boat ride as well or should we not get on the boat until the fireworks are over???? I am really going back and forth whether or not to order a special cake/dessert for DD6 at this ADR.
