Getting to Universal from Disney

Hi I was wondering the best way to get to Universal from Disney? How much would a cab be or a bus even?

Taxi @ $40-$45 each way plus tip
Town car $75-$80 round plus tip 1-4 ppl
Mears shuttle $19 pp round trip
Lynx bus $2 pp one way, must get to TTC or Downtown Disney, may require changing buses, see www.golynx.com for route/schedule information

Whats the Mears Shuttle? There website doesnt seem to mention it

A shared shuttle or bus. Call Mears; the number should be on the website.

If using the Mears shuttle, you must book it the day before you want to use it. You can call right from your resort room. You can then arrange for a pickup time. You can either make arrangements for your return pickup time then, or you can wait until a few hours before you are ready to leave US and call Mears then to get your p/u time for your return to your WDW resort.

There are 8 of us in our travel party going from Disney to Universal and it will be cheaper for us to do the round trip in a private van, rather than the shuttle.

I found Tiffany Town Car. They provide a private van shuttle for 12-15 people for $90 round trip, Disney to Universal.

Payless website has round trip in a van for $65 and limo $120

Much less than $160 for the 8 of us on the Mears Shuttle and we wouldn't have to share.

I am going to call Mears though to see if they have rates for a private van, I could not find where there website mentions the shuttle at all.
