Getting to CW from US or IOA

I was thinking of taking a break while at IOA or US and taking the boys to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Is it hard to get there from the parks? Is it close enough to walk, or are there shuttles from the parks to the City Walk? I looked at it from their map on their site and it looks like there's a bridge or walkway between the parks and City Walk, but I know maps can be deceiving and it may be a lot further than it looks.

The Hard Rock Cafe is VERY close to the parks!!! In fact, there is a secret entrance (secret only because very few realize it is there) from Universal Studios in where you exit right at Hard Rock Cafe. It's only a couple minute walk and therefore VERY convienient.

If you are at Universal Studios, walk over to the Nick Studios and keep walking to a dead end. You will see a small gate (only one turnstile) to your left. Exit thee, and the building you walk around to the front is Hard Rock.
The maps aren't deceiving at all...and that's a great thing. Everything is so close in relation, and therefore, you won't have to worry about things being too far from each other.

(BTW - I ALWAYS go to Hard Rock Cafe when I go to Universal Studios...it's closeby so we don't have to go far from the park to get a great meal.)

No problem!! Hard Rock Cafe is my favorite restaurant by far! The atmosphere there is awesome. It's a bit noisy, but you see all this memorabilia on the walls and they have flat screen TVs everywhere playing music videos.

Goodness Claire, I just noticed how many times you've been to US and IOA....I know I definitely have an expert on my hands now!!

Now I know that my son will really like Hard Rock, he's recently started watching MTV (which I'm not always so thrilled about) so he'll think it's real cool. Hey, maybe, just once, he'll think I'm a cool mom too! lol

the Hard Rock Cafe is great!!!!!! When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the parks but not put a kink in your schedule, City Walk is the perfect answer. It's sooooooooo convenient. Also, Hard Rock is one of the best restaurants there.

We loved it!!!
