Getting to Car Care Center

We are staying onsite at WDW but want to sneak over to Universal to visit the Wizarding World. I know I can rent a car for the day at the Car Care Center, but where is it and how do I get there- i.e., bus, taxi, etc.? Also, is there anyplace else onsite that rents cars? Thanks!

National/Alamo will pick you up at your resort.

Its free but you have to call for pickup, from 24 hr to 1 hr before reservation time. They put you into the Alamo/National schedule for resort pickups...

Yes, back to your hotel, or even to the TTT to get a monorail to Epcot, or the boat/monorail to MK..

Be sure you check the operating hours of the CCC for your stay. They are not open late. There is also National & Alamo over at the Dolphin, you can drop your car off late with the valet. Then you would have to take Disney busses to get back to your hotel, via a park or DTD.

Yes, in addition to the well-publicized, oft-mentioned Alamo/National at the Car Care Center:

• Hertz - at Shades of Green Resort (Magic Kingdom, across from the Polynesian)
  
• Dollar - at the Regal Sun Resort (Downtown Disney)
  
• Avis - at the Hilton (Downtown Disney)

(Note to moderators: why not make a sticky of ALL the car rental companies on WDW?)
