Getting to AKL from Boardwalk

Planning to use Disney transportation from BW to AKL for a dinner.(PS) How much time should I plan to leave before the PS to catch a boat (or walk) to MGM then a bus from MGM to AKL? Is an hour enough? An hour and a half?

Walk from BWV to MGM takes 25 minutes or less. Boat, if you board at BWV, will take about 25 minutes. Fastest way is as follows:

At the end of the boardwalk, just past Atlantic Dance, you will see a walking bridge that you can walk over to S/D from. Walk over the bridge and go to S/D boat dock--just on the other side of the bridge to the right. Catch boat to MGM there. Total trip time, walk and boat is less than 15 minutes because S/D is the last stop for the boat before it goes to MGM, add another 5 or ten minutes for wait time on the boat.

Bus to AKL from MGM takes about 20 minutes, add another 10 for wait time.

In other words regardless of what route you take, an hour should do it.

Note if AK is still open, you have another option: take the bus from BWV to AK and then catch AKL bus there, that also should take no more than an hour and likely less.
