Getting the 4th FP

So I have a few questiuons about getting that 4th FP:

1. How soon can you go for it - after you have done your first one? Or do you have to do all three then you can book the next one?

2. My last one is from 1:55-2:55. If I have to wait for that one, its it as soon as I have done it or do I basically have to wait to 2:55 before it lets me get the next one?

3. What are the chances of getting Buzz or Big Thunder RR as your 4th FP later in the day?

You can't get your 4th fp until after you use your third fp. You don't have to wait till your last window closes at 2:55.

When getting the 4th, do you have to book it at a kiosk or can you use the app?

After you use all of the initial FastPass+ experiences on the day of your visit (or your arrival windows have passed), you can select one additional FastPass+ experience to use that same day (based on availability). The additional FastPass+ experience is a rolling FastPass+ experience—each time you use an additional FastPass+ experience, you can select a new one.

Additional FastPass+ selections must be made at a FastPass+ kiosk within the same park as the FastPass+ experience that you wish to select, and they can be made at a different park from your previous selections.

What are the chances for getting Buzz or BTMRR later in the day after the 3rd FP?

Last may I was able to get splash and btmrr 4th fastpasses but they were for later in the evening. So if our third was used at 1 we could get btmrr for 6 or 7. Not sure if this is still the case. When we went 4th FP+ was fairly new.

Yes, you can use your FP+ at 1:55 and then immediately go to a kiosk to try to book a 4th FP+. Actually the scanners will turn green 5 minutes before your FP+ time (we tested that multiple times during our trip), so you could use it at 1:50.

Whether you can pull a Buzz or BTMRR is going to depend a lot on the crowd level that day. If you are talking about a week in the middle of spring break crowds, probably not. If you are talking about a lower crowd week, you have a decent chance of getting to pull on of those. We were there in October and found both Buzz and BTMRR available in the afternoon as a 4th FP. Sometimes they will be for a time within a couple of hours, but sometimes they will be for late in the evening, so you have to weigh whether you really want it to rather you would rather grab something available earlier and try for a 5th. You just never know what will pop up at a kiosk for a 4th at MK. We found we could usually pull a decent 4th there.

Buzz shouldnt be an issue


We we there on 1/18 and grabbed a Buzz with our 4th at about 645. The window was at 725, so we walked over and the FP line stretched to LaughFloor....took about 10minutes to get through the line.

This past Saturday when MK was open until midnight for everyone and 2AM for resort guests (so a presumably busy day), I got my fourth FP for Buzz (I used the kiosk around noon and the FP time was for 1:45. I then got a Big Thunder one for 9pm as a fifth pass after my Buzz pass.

I already have a buzz one but was not sure if I should switch it to BTMRR and try later for Buzz or keep Buzz and try for BTMRR. I think I may Keep it the way it is - even if I get a late one that will be ok. I am going Feb 26 so the crowds shouldnt be terrible
