Getting pre-Final Payment jitters.....

Final payment on our first cruise is due Aug 10th and I am worried that we made the wrong choice in cruise lines. Recently there has been a lot of 'complaints' that Disney does not have enough activities for the Teen+ age range. We are spending a lot of $$$$ for this family trip and everyday now I get more and more concern that there will that everyone will have a great time.... We have a wide rage of ages in our group.... 16 18 20 48 50 52 54 and 79!!!

This cracks me up. What do people want to do when they go on vacation??? If these teens are going on a cruise what are they expecting to do? My teen had been twice and both times she barely spent any time with us. She never complained about having nothing to do. If your child is not very social, I can see a problem. Mine doesn't have many friends at home but this cruise was great for her. She was able to just let go and laugh. Hanging out in the sun and talking is what teens do best. To be young again!!!!!

We once cruised with 11 in our party (ages 8-60ish). I made most of the pre-arrangements. Once on the ship I stopped planning. Leave people to make their own arrangements. My plan was to try and have everyone meet up for dinner. You're not responsible for everyone in your group having fun. Leave the fuddys and complainers to make their own good time! Believe me - there's plenty to do if they want to do it...

your 16 year old will have a fantastic time as the teen club is spectacular.......the counselors are great....on both DCL cruises we were on, my son loved the teen counselors....we sailed when he was 15 and 17...

Your 18 and 20 year olds will hang out with each other, so they'll have a great time too (they'll have someone their own age to go to all the adult things with...

and the adults will have a great time too...

so no worries...

and that's coming from someone who complained about my 20 year old's experience on the Wonder (not the Magic, which has many more activities than does the Wonder).....

i'm sure you'll all have a magical time...

Pay your money and enjoy the anticipation. Your teens will have a great time and so will you. You will love the Ports and the ship. No worries.

The teens across the street from us went a couple of months ago and are begging to go back again. They LOVED it.
