Our flight arrives at 6:30am on our first morning (Thursday after Easter). I want to get to MK at opening. This seemed doable until the hours changed today and the MK opens at 8am instead of 9am. Can I get my room key/park ticket at guest services at MK or do I have to get them at my resort? I am afraid I will miss opening if I have to go to our resort and then head to the park. Ideas anyone?

I don't obsess too much ;) except I want my mornings to be at the opening of whatever park I choose that day. Hopefully since the MK will be open until 3am the night before, it won't get too crowded before we can get there.

I believe that you have to get them when you check in at your resort because they will be on your room key.

To be sure you should probably call Disney.

You have to check in at your resort to get them. They are tied into your resort reservation and cannot be issued anywhere else.

So, what if you purchased non-expiry tickets? Would you just KEEP your room key after the trip (de-activated for the room, of course...)????

Yes. You would continue to use up the tickets using the old resort ID.
