Getting OFF a ride

In all the reading I've done to figure out how to get Mom on a few rides she'd enjoy while we're there in September (she will be using a scooter), I've probably overlooked the answer to this question:

Do the CMs keep track of who's disabled on a ride, or do we have to somehow flag them down and let them know when it's time to get off?

Mom won't ride any thrill rides, but I want her to do some of the rides with moving boarding platforms, which we'd either need stopped or very much slowed for her to safely board. I just didn't want to get to the end and them expect her to just jump right off as any able-bodied person would do, so I didn't know if it was their responsibility or ours to know when we're back.

They keep track of who needs the belt slowed or stopped. Usually there is a good amount of time so if they forget you can let them know. Also it is pretty obvious if you are not getting off that you need accommodations.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure. Mom's so excited. :)

Quick hint here. In my case it's difficult to get on and off the rides. We're placed in special accessible ride cars. (At HM, they have to stop the moving belt for me.) So we ask before the ride, and after, if we can go again if no one else is waiting for the special car. Some rides we have been able to repeat are BTMRR, HM, R'n'R, Jungle Cruise (special seat for the disabled), Kali River Rapids (that's good for at least 2-3 times - no one in the handicap raft wants to get off). It doesn't hurt to ask, and it's easier for me to ride twice in a row, than to go back to the ride later and repeat the entire enter/exit process.

The CMs are required to stop the belt or bring the scooter to the ride car if your mom can't handle those. But you have to let them know your mom's limitations in advance. Once on BTMRR I had to ride again because they forgot to bring the scooter to me (Scooter was at the entrance, not the exit. The people waiting to ride in my seat next were very kind and understanding that they had to wait for one more train). Next trip around brought me to where the scooter was. That was OK with me!

The WEDway PeopleMover in Tomorrowland has a moving belt. They will absolutely not stop that belt to accommodate any mobility issue. Your mom will probably have to skip that ride. I miss that ride terribly!
