We plan on registering on the Disney honeymoon registry, if it ever works again. It's been down since September...

Happy Monday everyone :) I hope you all had a nice weekend. I was sick with a cold (all week actually) but luckily, it's been getting better so it didn't keep me down! Although, my cousin had a baby on Thursday so it did prevent me from being able to go see him yet. I'm hoping we can go tonight! Yesterday I was really in the Christmas spirit...I wrapped a ton of gifts (since somehow every year I get wrangled into wrapping all my dad's gifts that he bought for my mom), baked some yummy chocolate chip and Christmas M&M cookies and decorated our Christmas tree. It was fun and I enjoyed listening to my new Michael Buble Christmas CD while doing it all! How was everyone else's weekend? Did anyone do any delicious baking? I'm looking for a new, fun recipe to make next week with my mom. Share if you have any!!

In trip news, I'm realizing that I never posted on this PTR that our Disneymoon is officially booked!!:yay::woohoo: Our DVC owning friend booked it last week. As of now we're booked for 12 nights at SSR. Hoping for a little BCV or BWV magic at 7 months but SSR would be fine too! Also, I applied for a Southwest airlines credit card a few weeks ago because it said after your first purchase you get two free flights. I know it's not the best idea to do this (apply for credit cards just for the perks) but I don't do it often and this was too good to pass up. I was approved, used the card and received not two free flights, but 50,000 SWA points! I checked a normal flight for us to Orlando is only about 6,000 points! Flights to tinkgurl's airport are about the same! So it looks like I have a good amount of free flights now! Since it worked out so well, Chris applied too and now also has 50,000 points! So our flights to tinkgurl's wedding in August and our honeymoon in October should be free :cheer2: Sounds good to me :goodvibes

In wedding news, I purchased something from the Disney Store for all my bridesmaids...however, since one of my lovely girls is a DISer (obviously you all know who) I can't post the pictures lol if you're interested in knowing what I bought, PM me and I'll send you a picture!

For our honeymoon, I've been thinking about booking a private meal for Chris and I. I know very little about this but I know Melissa (mickeysmyboy) has done it before since I read it on an old TR of hers. If anyone has any info on this or knows anything about pricing, please let me know! I want more info but am not even sure where to look!

Thank you for all your kind words about our Save the Date cards. We'll be sending them out after the holidays. I made my half of the guest list and there are about 96 people on it...just my half  We can only have 150 people (because that's all we can afford!) so some trimming needs to unfortuntaely be done. I'm scared to see what Chris' half of the list is going to look like! We're waiting for his mom to give us her list. We need to get it figured out pretty quickly now.

Well, this is my last week of grad school and student teaching...all my hard work for the past 6.5 years of college will finally pay off at the end of the week when I'm DONE!! I will not be going back to school again for a longgggg time lol I'm so excited :yay::woohoo: I hope you all have a great week!!

Oh and P.S. LET'S GO RANGERS!!! :goodvibes

Wow 100,000 Southwest points! The places you could go with those!

Congrats on finishing up school. I'm sure you're feeling relieved already!

Can't wait to see what you got your bridesmaids.

Yay for booking your disneymoon! Thats crazy about getting all those free SWA points..its making me think about getting a new card haha..As for doing private dining, when you mentioned it, it reminded me of carrie's (lurkyloo) tower of terror dinner party..here's a link to her site for a how to on private events/dining http://disneytravelbabble.com/how-to/private-party/ . oh congrats on being done with school!

I did lots of similar Christmas stuff! We decorated our tree this past weekend and I spent most of Sunday wrapping presents! I'm going to start my Christmas cookie baking soon, probably tomorrow or Thursday. I have a number of recipes I've used and some new ones to try - any type of cookie or certain flavor you like?

Good luck with the trimming of the guest list. We had to do that too - luckily it turned out to be pretty easy for us. I could tell pretty quickly which friends I had grown more distant from and who was more likely to come. Good luck!

Yay for being booked! I know that whichever resort you end up at will be great. But, really there is nothing wrong with 12 days at SSR. ;)

Good luck with your last week of student teaching. You're with the older kids, right? I student taught in a second grade class and it was so hard saying good bye to them. :sad1:

You should apply for the card! I don't even plan on using it since the only credit card I use is my Disney Visa anyway! I just used it the one necessary time for the points! Thanks sooooo much for that link! I looked through it and bookmarked it on my laptop so I can call the right people when the time comes! :goodvibes

Don't you love Christmas time?! We just finished our shopping today! I like so many different types of cookies. Do you know any good chocolate peanut butter recipes?

Ugh, I haven't even looked at the list again lol I hope it's easy for us! It's mostly family and family friends...I hope we can do it!

Oh mannnn, I was so sad when I read on your TR that you were sick on your trip...Chris and I have gotten sick in Disney the past 2 trips and it really puts a damper on things!

Thanks!!

12 nights at SSR! That is AWESOME! :dance3::woohoo:

Yea girlllll :yay::woohoo:

Don't want anyone to think I forgot about you all, I'm still here! Just not much to report on the wedding planning front right now. We had put stuff on hold until after the holidays and now, it's after the holidays! Today (hopefully) we need to sit down and make an official list of guests...we need to get our Save the Date cards out! Within the next 2-3 weeks I'm going to go with my girls to try on bridesmaids dresses again. Gotta get that done too! Oh and yesterday I began my own version of bridal bootcamp! I joined a new gym with 2 friends. We took Zumba (which I love and missed so much) and a Step class. Tonight is a body toning class and Zumba again. I'm so excited! That, plus healthy eating will hopefully get me to the size I want to be before the big day! I have about 25 lbs I want to lose so wish me luck! I think I can do it!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and I will be back as soon as there's more to report on, definitely within the next 2-3 weeks!! :goodvibes

Glad you had good holidays. That is awesome that you're doing your own bridal boot camp! You'll shed those extra pounds in no time :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you had a lovely holiday! Now onward to wedding planning -- that's great about the bridal boot camp. Good luck with that, and the bridesmaid dress shopping!

Hey! I'm here finally. I just read the chapter updates, so sorry if I missed anything!

I am so excited for your wedding! Your dress is beautiful, you are beautiful, you guys are SOOOOOO good together!! AHHHH I'm so excited. That venue is gorgeous too! Man its going to be SUCH a fairy tale!!

Yes, I totally agree with everything that Kimmy said!

Josh & I are looking forward to being able to celebrate with yall on your big day! It's going to be so exciting and an absolute blassstttt <3

YAAAAY! :goodvibes

Happy New Year! :cool1:

Your bridal bootcamp sounds fun, I LOVE Zumba! I joined a Zumba studio where you could take unlimited classes each month, but it was SO popular, it got really crowded and they kept raising the price! It got to be like, $55 a month! I think I'm going to buy the DVD's, I really loved doing Zumba, such a great workout! :thumbsup2
