Getting into shops

How difficult is it to get into shops at Disney these days? Do you often have to wait in a line? Unfortunately our day for DS is on Sunday so I'm worried it will be super packed. Also, I wonder if leisurely shopping in Batu or Main Street is even possible...

For DS just get there when they first open and its wonderful!! For Main Street it is leisurely until it gets closer to closing times then then the long lines start. Batu was different bc you had to wait early on due the the way the "Bazaar" shops are laid out.

I was there a Thursday in lake March
M&M was maybe a 5 min wait if even to get in
Gideon’s was a 105 minute virtual queue than another 10-15 minutes when we got paged

I didn't find the lines to get into shops too bad. There were only 3 times we had an actual line to stand in.

One was for World of Disney at Disney Springs. That said, the line moved the entire time and I think they were just staggering entry and not really keeping the #s down.

Another was for the store outside the Haunted Mansion. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes to get in there. It's a very small store so it makes sense we had to wait.

The last were for the stores in Galaxy's Edge. I'm counting this as one line. To go to the Marketplace shops, you must stand in a line to get into the Marketplace. From there, you need to stand in a line to go into the actual 'shop' you want. They only let one family at a time in a shop. That said, it's easy to see what is in each of those little shops before you get in line so that you do not stand in a line for a shop that has nothing you want.

Even at the most crowded time, I never waited more than about 15 minutes!

We were at Disney Springs the afternoon of Saturday March 20. Gideon’s virtual line was about 4 hours. We didn’t do much shopping, (went to a movie) but I over heard someone say the line for World of Disney was an hour & a half.

We had waits to get into World of Disney at DS (about 20 minutes) and the shops in SWGE (this was our longest wait - about 30 minutes to get into the actual shops then you have to wait again to get into each store). We did not have a wait to shop on Main Street.
