We just got our letter in the mail approving us for our financing! Geez, I was more excited about that than I was when we applied for a mortgage!

We are going down in 2 weeks to stay at the Poly (on cash ressie) can we use our DVC member cards for discounts on that trip too or only on DVC trips?

Also, how difficult would it be to book 5 nights in January in any of the DVC resorts at this point?

Congrats on clearing the financing hurdle!

You can utilize the member perks at WDW even if you're not staying on points. The only perk that you cannot use, to my knowledge, is the pool hopping perk. All other perks such as free valet parking are valid. At least that's my understanding. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

And January is a pretty slow season, I'm pretty sure. So you shouldn't have a problem, especially if you are flexible as to which resort you will stay at.
