Thanks to everyone that posted such wonderful wishes and prayers.
It hs been a very long three days
I have had cataract surgery on both eyes now.
Th first eye was done early in the morning and recovery was just as described. Pretty quick and easy.
The second eye was done two weeks later (this past Tusday) in the late afternoon. Everything was fine until about 8:30 or 9:00 that evening.
I have never experienced a headache like this in my life. I couldnt keep anything down and just kept getting sicker and sicker throughout the night.
I went back to the eye DR on Wednesday morning and they told me that while not overly common, it happens frequently enough that they knew exactly what it was.
It seems pressure built behind the eye causing the headachce and nausea.
They performed a laser procedure which released the pressure immediately and the headache subsided and I went home.
I have slept on and off since wednesday morning. Yes, I even slept through Toy Story Mania sign-up.
It's Friday morning and while I dont feel 100% yet....I feel a 1000% percent better than I did the other day.
I truly cant say thank you enough for the care and concern shown. It means the world to me.
It may take a day or two before I'm back here as often as I usually am.....but I'll be back.
Shouting out to Kevin!(wowza, that's too loud)
Hope you're having a speedy recovery! I've enclosed big warm wonderful gorilla hugs and kisses just for you.
Please ask John to view the photo below and deliver them for me. Love you, Debs
Hey, what are you doing reading posts? You're supposed to be resting those eyes!! Sending you three bananas for a super speedy recovery- can't make them any bigger though!
Thanks for the update, Kevin. If it is what I think it is, this is not something that causes any kind of permanent damage to the eye or vision, but it's a real annoyance and pain (literally), as you well know.
