Yeah, right?? I'd love to know the reasoning behind this decision.

BLT is ahead of schedule but is only half sold. They want to rent out the unsold inventory (thru CRO?) ASAP so they moved up the booking dates.

Total insanity IMO to have 2 new, limited availability properties come on line the same day, though!

I wanted an MK view studio for 2 nights starting opening day but they'd all gone by the time I got through (about 1 hour 10 minutes after MS opened) I went for a SV to save points

I had almost given up after redialing for an hour, and waiting online for 25 minutes...but I got the THV for our October trip!!!

OK I am currently on hold since 10:21ET, by calling the 800 number. They say it should be a 20 minute wait time.

On a funny side note my DD has had cereal, swedish fish and is now working on popcorn, really great side dishes for breakfast right? I guess I really am not paying attention to anything except the phone. How sad, but then again, I'M FINALLY ON HOLD!!!

Transferred a 2 bdrm at SSR to a THV for Nov. 22 - 29 (Thanksgiving week)!

40 minutes of busy signal, 20 minute hold time and lovely music - thank goodness for speaker phones!! and 3 -5 minute standard conversation with a very nice CM - sorry but I don't remember her name

It was very easy to transfer the 2 bdrm to a THV!

All of this for some very good friends of mine.

Now I'm hoping for some to get a reservation beginning Thanksgiving day at 7 months in a 1 bedroom anywhere on property! And we have some flexibility on dates.

We are hoping for THV for Thanksgiving week also. I got through at 10:10 and am currently on hold (current time is 10:32 am).

I finally got through. 128 call attempts. 75 min, and then 20 min on hold, but I have my BLT room for Dec. 12 - 16. Yeah!!!

Got 3 nights at THV from 12 Aug. Took 90 mins in total- redialling, holding, then talking. Emotionally exhausted now! Phew!

Got a busy signal for 1 hour, got through at 10 am. Was on hold for 25 minutes. Worth it... Got THV for Oct 10-14!

Well, after an hour and half of redailing my sister and I both got through at the same time while using two different lines. She is still on hold. I was disconnected after pressing the prompt.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that member services was so unprepared for this volume of calls.

Or, you could be thinking if every member just used one phone line to call the volume would be less than half what it is.....good news is the number of pending requests is likely less than the number of calls trying to get in...

I hope everyone gets through and is able to book what they want (or at least something they can live with!) today!!

maybe dvc should limit everyone from using 1 phone allowed. just kidding everyone.

It's only funny, because I've done that too!!

I shipped both boys off to their Grandmother yesterday so I would not be disturbed! And they can fix their own cereal and popcorn now!

Got it!!! The actual time with MS was about 2 minutes. The hold time was about 24 minutes.

Afer all said and done it took me about 80 minutes to make a reservation. I got my 1br SV from 10/25 - 11/01. Very excited and can't wait to start making ADR

I am sitting here literally crying right now. It's so stupid I know. I wanted a 1 bedroom MK view Aug 4 through Aug 8 and they are all gone. After dialing for an hour, being on hold for 20 minutes, I didn't get what I wanted.

It's so silly I know. I got a 1 bedroom lake view and I'm sure it will be nice but....

Finally on hold after calling for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Brand new owners at BLT booking our 1st trip - hope it isn't always like this. Sort of frustrating - not getting an estimated hold time message though - is this normal?

After using 3 different phone lines at my house and 70 minutes of redialing, I finally got through. Waited on hold for around 20 minutes but got my THV for 5 nights of a December trip. Unbelievably annoying to go through...but I'm so happy right now.
