One landline and three cell phones calling starting at 858. Busy about 20 times, then got through with 2 minute wait time. Transferred 2 bedroom to THV on 10/21-10/26. I can't wait. Took two minutes of frantic dialing, two minutes of waiting and two minutes of talking...lucky I guess.

Remeber to those who have not gotten through that there are many rooms (and dates) at both BLT and THV, so I would bet that many dates will be available for a good portion of today...It will be interesting when we will see the first post of someone who did not get a date they wanted because it is already full.

Just got 1br BLT Dec.19 - 24th standard view!! Good luck to the rest of you! I thought we wouldn't get it being that standard views are usually hard to get. Pixie dust to the holders (and those still waiting to be on hold)

I guess I am the first who didn't get what they wanted. We were looking for BLT 12/29 -1/4 Studio MK View. We got the dates but had to take a Lake view because MK view was all gone. DH is so dissappointed.

Is there a cure for redial thumb????? I'm trying to make ressies for BLT for Marathon weekend. This is exactly 11 months for the friday of that weekend so a lot of marathoner-DVC owners are calling today as well. Bad planning on DVC's part.

This is not exactly how I envisioned my first post but it is what it is. With that said: Ugh, what a major pita that was.

Like many, after about 40 minutes (using 2 phones) of "busy" signals and "that is not a working number" messages I finally got connected to sit on hold for 20 minutes before getting connected with a very helpful and friendly representative. I was "randomly" chosen for a survey so feel better that I was actually able to give some feedback about the experience.

Now though it is all good since we're confirmed for our first DVC trip to BLT MK view studio from Jan 8-13th! Ready or not Goofy here we come!

Finally booked THV for December!!!! Dialed in getting busy signals on 4 phone lines for over 30 minutes and then spent 20 minutes on hold...

Transferred a 2 bdrm at SSR to a THV for Nov. 22 - 29 (Thanksgiving week)!

40 minutes of busy signal, 20 minute hold time and lovely music - thank goodness for speaker phones!! and 3 -5 minute standard conversation with a very nice CM - sorry but I don't remember her name

It was very easy to transfer the 2 bdrm to a THV!

All of this for some very good friends of mine.

Now I'm hoping for some to get a reservation beginning Thanksgiving day at 7 months in a 1 bedroom anywhere on property! And we have some flexibility on dates.

well, after 75 minutes of dialing I'm now officially on hold. At least my neurotic dialing is taking a rest. Now we'll see if NYE is available for us by the time I get thru to a real person. I sent DVC a email stating (not ranting) my disappointment in their service/planning today.

I am sitting here literally crying right now. It's so stupid I know. I wanted a 1 bedroom MK view Aug 4 through Aug 8 and they are all gone. After dialing for an hour, being on hold for 20 minutes, I didn't get what I wanted.

It's so silly I know. I got a 1 bedroom lake view and I'm sure it will be nice but....

Got 1 one bedroom BLT and one 2 bedroom, both MK view, for December 30 and 31. Also booked 1 studio, bay view, and 1 2 bedroom MK view for expected opening night!!

It was a nightmare trying to get through, 35 minutes of just busy, but only 15minutes of holding.

I called in for 12/31 - 1/2. I had to split the nights. Took at LV Studio for 12/31 and a MK View for 1/1. I wait listed for a MK View Studio for 12/31.

Wish I had a phone that would auto redial. I'm thinking the diser that said they were going into work to use the 5 line phones there was thinking right.

Or, you could be thinking if every member just used one phone line to call the volume would be less than half what it is.....good news is the number of pending requests is likely less than the number of calls trying to get in...

I hope everyone gets through and is able to book what they want (or at least something they can live with!) today!!
