Get me to the Boardwalk

How would we get from Por to the Boardwalk for dinner? We will be relying on Wdw transportation. Thanks in advance.

Take the bus from POR to DHS, then walk (it's about 10-15 minutes) or take the boat to BW from there.

You basically just need to get to any park, then transfer to other transport to BW from there. DHS is the closest to BW, but other parks will work too.

After dinner you'll need to do the same in reverse; get to whatever park is open and most convenient, then switch to a POR bus there. If all of the parks are closed when you are heading back you will need to use DTD as a transfer point.

1. Bus to DHS, walk or boat to the BW
2. Bus to Epcot, walk through Epcot (requires park admision), exit at the Int'l Gateway, walk to BW
3. Bus to MK, bus from MK to BW
4. Cab--not WDW transportation but the fastest and least hassle.

I would recommend the bus from POR to the Studios--walk past the entrance to the park and keep going until you see the boat dock (head toward the water). Board one of the Friendship boats to the Boardwalk. The boat ride is very pleasant and relaxing. The walk is long--at least 20 minutes, and if it is hot, it will feel like 60.

I agree with the above responses but offer another option...take the boat to DTD and then take a bus to the BW.

Agree with the ones that said take a bus to the Studios and walk/boat from there. We stay at the BW and the only way we take the boat is if it is sitting at the dock at the Studios, otherwise the walk is quicker. We usually walk. If you take the boat, to save time get off at the S/D stop and then just walk over the bridge to the Boardwalk - otherwise the boat will stop at S/D, then Y/BC and then BW.
