I posted this on the budget board - but also thought it made sense to be here...

My DH and I have a trip planned to Disney in November and I've been trying to figure out a way to get a discount or reward $ for buying Disney gift cards for several months - AND I FINALLY DID IT! The discount is 5% - I know that isn't a lot, but every little bit helps when you're going to Disney!

Here's how to get the 5%. Visit http://www.incentone.com/holiday/

Purchase an electronic holiday gift card in any $25 increment and select yourself as the recipient. Enter Offer Code Holiday7 to get the 5% discount. Please note there is a $2.95 processing fee.

Within in a few minutes of your purchase your gift certificate code will be emailed to you and you can redeem for Disney gift cards. The site says your gift card will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Happy shopping!

Doesn't seem to be a limit. I purchased a $700 holiday gift certificate, which I exchanged for (7) 100 disney gift cards and was only charged the $2.95 processing fee. No shipping charges as long as you order the electronic certificate. So I came out about $32 ahead - that's a bottle of wine with dinner!

Can I redeem for a gift card now, or do I need to wait for them to arrive in the mail?

If you do the electronic gift card you should recieve it within an hour after purchase and can redeem the card. I ordered my card on Friday and on Monday it said the Disney Card had shipped and gave me a tracking number.

Thanks....do I simply take this to the Disney Store to have it converted? We are leaving in a few days, and every little bit of savings will help! Do I just follow the link on the giftcard page to the Disney site?

No - you'll need to order the holiday gift certificate from incent one and you'll get an email with instructions on how to redeem. They'll direct you back to their gift catalog and you can order a gift....one option is for disney gift cards. You will need to wait to have the actual disney gift card mailed to you, but you don't have to wait for the holiday certificate.

Okay, thanks. I will then need to wait for the gift cards to arrive in the mail, right?

Just wanted to let you guys know that I recieved my gift cards in the mail yesterday. They send them DHL with signiture required. It took about one week to recieve them after I submitted the order. I called on all the cards and they all had the correct amounts on them. Hope some of you were able to take advantage of the deal too!

Just to be clear on the math:

5% of $25 is $1.25
5% of $50 is $2.50
5% of $75 is $3.75
5% of $100 is $5.00

Thus, with the $2.95 processing fee, you need to purchase a gift card of at least $75 just to realize an 80-cent savings. To me, this makes the 5% discount useful only if you intend to buy a gift card of several hundred dollars all at once, as kristinlynn did.

Looks as if the promotion is over because it's showing no discount for me :sad2:

EDIT Apparently the site doesn't like Firefox. :confused3 The discount works on IE though!

Thanks for the heads up!! :thumbsup2
